Works well for expanding my single ethernet port to multiple outputs. Speeds are decent. Only downside would be that the lights are a bit bright for a bedroom, so I taped over them to make them not as bright.

Works as expected. Splits up the connection as expected. Unmanaged switch.

Bought this to replace the 5-Port switch, and now we don't have to worry about unplugging one device, just to plug in another. Worth the price!

Ethernet Switches are something one doesn't think about until they break down or don't offer enough ports. This Linksys 8 port ethernet switch has 8 ports, enough to plug in a few more devices as compared with a standard 5 port'er. My only complaint is how bright the LED lights are. The LED lights are very bright, so bright, that it practically lights up a room at night, making it quite a fantastic night light. If one were to place this Linksys switch in a room that would be occupied at night, the bright lights might require plastering black electrical tape over some of the lights to make it tolerable. I've used many other ethernet switches by Linksys and never have I owned a Linksys switch that is this bright. Oh well, it works and that's really my only concern.

Good product, good price, easy to install...........

Installation and use of the switch could not be more simple and reliable. Linksys is recommended for most (all) high-speed ethernet systems (fiber). Switch loading and balance seem perfect, never a roadblock or slowdown of data.

I bought this to link with a previous purchase of this switch. Works perfectly, linked both 8-port Gigabit switches with a Cat 7 cable and now have 13 usable Gigabit ports for connecting devices.

While going thru my network and PC setups with my geek squad rep we determined that one of the bottlenecks was the processing speed of my still reliable and still functioning Linksys 8 port attended (smart)switch. Since, it had been so reliable I upgraded to the same brand to get the gigabit speeds now available. Seamless replacement, noticed immediate results. I expect it to last until next technology upgrade.

Easy to set up and has many ports for use of multiple devices. Good choice with a nice price.

Works like a champ. Have this connected to Eero mesh, SB8200 modem, PC, and other devices. Pushing 900MB+ through it with no issues. Plug and play. What else needs to be said?

It's an 8-port switch. It does the job, and it does it well. No issues to report. Utilizing 6 of the 8 ports to a single giga-bit port. Would buy again.
