Simple switch at a reasonable price. Great for connecting your home network which likely requires more ports than on your router.

So far, this network hub has worked great! There's a little bit of slowdown in network traffic, but that's to be expected in any sort of hub, and shouldn't dissuade you from grabbing this is you need a hub! Very user-friendly, just plug-and-play. No complaints.

Bought this so I could connect a wireless Access Point on my Lanai as the in house wifi signal would not pass through the walls of the house. Had a central junction box in the house for Cat 6 cables and electric. Plugged the Linksys switch in connected the cables and I had wired internet available inside and out of the house. Tested the Access Point outside and it worked like a charm. Simple set up: Plug it in and connect the cables.

This is a great and cheap device that allows for in-home hardwiring of ethernet in a multitude of rooms. All you have to do is mount it and plug in the cables and you're done - the internal circuitry does all the work for you. Be aware that you should check your home ethernet/phone cabling first before installing, as some homes are not wired for ethernet or gigabit ethernet.

I've been buying Linksys routers and switches for years and they never break down and always maintain good resell value. I just bought this switch because he moved into a bigger house and needed to connect all my google WiFi mesh access points directly (hardwired) to the main access router point. Couldn't be more pleased as I get top speeds all over the house with all 9 access points hardwired into this switch.

Does the job I was expecting and I have not complaints. I actually have this running downstream while also using the 5 Linksys. Seems to work just fine and the internet speed is great.
