Great product for updating Wi-Fi capability easily

My parents had Wi-Fi connected in their home, but their computer was not Wi-Fi capable. This was a great solution that was easy to install and it didn't cost a ton.

Over the phone, they diagnosed that part of my laptop's motherboard died. They suggested an inexpensive device instead of a costly repair. This adapter worked and saved me from spending a lot of money.

Worked right out of the box

I had tried another brand and had so many problems downloading the drivers, I never got it set up. This one had the startup drivers in place and then updated right after installation. Would like to see it updated to accept Windows 10 so I can update my OS to Windows 10 asap.

Wireless Connection Correction

Search the internet and read about problems with Dell's OEM wireless adapters. Until I found this I was thinking of buying a new laptop. Much less expensive and work great.

Only gripe is that it’s does seem to disconnect from my wifi frequently but that could be my wifi connection so I didn’t doc more points.

Detects many wifi connections!

I had trouble connecting to my university wifi from different buildings around campus but after getting this device I had no problem! The setup was a bit confusing, but I got it after a while.

With windows 10, it typically doesn't even require any software or drivers to be installed as it's already baked into the OS. yay!
