Got this usb Wi-Fi adaptor for a device with no Wi-Fi and it works surprisingly well. only con is I was able to find it cheaper online. Dont forget to price check! best buy is pretty good about price matching

Very surprised by this wireless adapter. The range and speed of this product was incredible.

Worked without a glitch to get my full speed on an older Dell PC that was not fitted for higher speed WiFi. Used it with short USB cord to place it in better location than behind my PC.

Used this adapter to convert a Win7 desktop PC from 802.11N to AC and the difference was very surprising. Wireless connection speed jumped to 867mbps from 130mbps when connected to the 5Ghz side of the EA6900 wireless router. Installation was typical USB with the PC immediately recognizing the adapter and installing the driver. Downloads are lightning fast and web pages load quickly. I'm very satisfied with this product.

Nice USB WIFI adapter for connecting computer to office network. Paired easily with Linksys WIFI. No problems with connection or speeds to this point.

I subscribe to a 100 Mbps download/35 Mbps upload plan which I'm now getting on my 12 year old laptop running Windows 10. This is due to the fact that this adapter (which is plugged into a USB 2.0 port) is dual band and the 5GHz band runs so much faster but wasn't an option with my old laptop's built in Wi-Fi adapter. Some reviews have stated the Linksys AC1200 adapter is Plug & Play but I needed to download and install the drivers from the Linksys website as instructed in the box....well worth the effort!

This was the best USB WiFi adapter that I've ever purchased. The driver was found by Windows immediately, It works flawlessly! This is definitely the one to get if you want a super easy installation and a solid connection.

I chose this adapter for the price. The built-in wireless card went bad on my desktop. It works fine and the install was easy. If it came with a remote dock, I would have given it 5 stars.

The WiFi on my laptop stopped working so I purchased this so I could connect. It works great with very little gaps. I can stream movies great and it connects to my 5G network.

I have a mini desktop PC that for one particular reason I reset to run Mac OS, which didn't support either built-in network adapter (wired or wireless). This device was selected on the basis of working as well with Mac OS as Windows. Tested on devices running either Windows 10 or Mac OS Catalina it installed correctly with provided software and runs with no issues. Though speed wasn't as much a priority as compatibility here, it has had no problems streaming full HD content and offers good speeds with the most recent FiOS Home router.

I bought this so I could have one PC in the bedroom and not hard wire it to make it wireless. Someone told me to purchase one of these and I had so many doubts. I read several reviews that were pretty good so I took a chance. It was so easy to set up, I had it running in under 10 minutes. It's great! No wires or cords to trip over. Just plug it in and follow the on screen directions and voila it was ready. My PC is from work and has win 2007. I did try this stick on an older computer and it would not work. That one has 2002 or 2003 on it so that must have been the difference. Anyway I love it and would recommend to everyone.

Not a plug and play device. This network adapter could not see my 5G network on a Windows 11 OS, when drivers were installed from the Linksys web site using the "Setup Software for Windows®". I had to uninstall everything which requires a couple of reboots and manually install the Windows 10 driver which thankfully worked. So far the connection is stable and the speed I was looking for is there. If you are not comfortable with manually installing a device driver then I would not recommend this adapter. The adapter is very wide and long and it blocks access to the USB port next to it. As well because it sticks out so far it will require some attention when moving the laptop about when the adapter is plugged in. Finally there are two status leds on the top of the device. One a solid blue color telling you the device is turned on and connected and a second led that flashes blue when data is sent or received. The solid blue led isn't too bad but the constantly flashing blue led is a huge visual distraction. I covered it with a bit of black electrical tape. Problem solved, however a little console app giving the user the option to enable/disable the lights would be nice. The console could even include the ability to switch between 2G and 5G. On a positive note this adapter supports USB3 speeds. All of the cheap adapters on Amazon do not.

Works like it should and didnt even require me to download anything for install on Windows 10. Plugged it in, windows installed drivers and was able to connect right away.

This Linksys USB adapter for WiFi works really well and was easy to install. Been using this now for over 6 months and no complaints. Plug and Play!

We moved to a new house and I needed my non-wireless desktop computer to work in the basement away from our cable modem upstairs. This usb linksys works well and provides for fast internet service. Its better then I expected.

My computer's network interface controller failed and I decided to get a USB adapter. This has worked very well for me. The speed is very good and it was a breeze to use.

Easy to use and connect. My desktop does not come with wifi and so this nifty little device allows me to connect to wifi easily.

Its was literally plug and play on my Windows Desktop. The performance is excellent, and I haven't had any problems with it at all. Great range and works great almost anywhere in my house.

Purchased for computer upstairs, had simple install, only took a few minutes. I was surprised by it's range because this was clear across the house and upstairs and still has 4 to 5 bars ! Has been a non issue since installation !

my wi-fi was very unreliable and my dell warranty ran out(I have since renewed my warranty). the technician Geek squad member suggested that I get an external wi-fi adapter. I chose Linksys-AC1200 and I have had no problems since installing Linksys - AC1200 Dual-Band USB 3.0 Adapter. Thank you so very much.
