Pretty good overall. Only thing that bugs me is right when I start my computer it takes a second for it to register the WiFi. Other than that it is a good wireless usb adapter.

Easy to set up, works great. I bought this aa an interim solution having purchased online a P"CI-E card. When the card arrived I didn't bother to install it because this USB 3 solution was working great.

This little device does magic. I lost my wired connection and was desperate to get my desktop pc reconnected to the internet. This Linksys adapter saved my many hours of frustration. I give it A+.

I got this because of my business. Sometimes the customer I'm visiting doesn't have Intranet access or they don't have a drop in the room. This is also the only adapter that seems to work with the computer that ships with the system I install. I have tried others but this one works the best.

Works great until someone leaned on it. Not really the products fault its inherently a side effect of usb adapters. Did have some issues with dropage here and there but could just be fluke setup anomaly.

Linsksys AC12000 USB 3.0 Adapter Nightmare

My experience was so bad, I wish i could give this product less than one star. I have an old desktop computer which I moved from a wired connection to an area where I needed WiFi. I read the reviews and the Linsksys AC1200 sounded perfect, but it turned into a nightmare. Let me list the problems.
1. The written instructions font was so tiny, I need a magnifying glass. 2. It told me to go online and download an installation file. Hello! I bought the Linksys because I can't get online with my desktop. I used a wireless laptop to download the file. 3. I spent 2 days trying to get the Linksys to work, but it failed every time. Even worse, I could no longer boot into Windows 10 unless I unplugged the adapter. 4. To compound the problem, Linksys has an 800 number one should call if all else fails. Incredibly, it was NOT a phone number for Linksys.
In the end, I returned the adapter, bought a competitor's product, which came with a CD installation and instructions I could actually read. I was online within 15 minutes with the competing AC adapter.

My computer is located in a travel trailer in my son's backyard. The router is located in his house and I have no trouble in connecting to the internet router, wathcing streaming video or doing other online work. Took it out of the box, plugged it in, and presto!, Internet connection was made. I have a cisco router tool

This works ok, but one day stopped working. I was told that I’d have to send it back to the manufacturer to get a replacement sent out. I ended up buying a replacement, then this one started working again. Dumb

I was surprised to see that this allowed me to get the same up/down as my hardline attached to my router downstairs. Good product for what I needed it for. If you are looking for hard gaming, this might not be the best for you.

I purchased this after a firmware update failed to bring back to life the wireless card onboard my (circa 2012) laptop and needed to come up with a workaround. No problems, no conflicts, fast install and great download speeds.

It does the job of getting a computer on a network. The associated software on a CD seems a bit outdated, however, and the instructions could have been more clear.
Good product with room for improvement.

There online spec's state 2.4 but the box states 2.4 or 5g
I used mine on 5g and it work great.
The only issue I see is having to remember I have something plugged in the side of my computer.
So I don't break it.
