Geek squad basically didn't want too do it, even with the total tech support. Decided to but this item. Well it works, then is just stops connecting to the internet, so downloading and/streaming can be problematic. Only does this with this unit attached. It works when it wants too

You may try to connect directly to the main source of the WiFi and observe if the connection is stable. If it is, then the adapter could be the culprit. Make sure to update its driver and if that won’t help, let’s have our Escalation Engineers lend you a hand so they can check further.
