Works with W10 with certain drivers

This WiFi adapter works pretty well with Windows 10 1709, Fall Creator's Update. You have to use the official driver found on the Linksys website: Windows 10 driver version: 1030.19.0103.2017. With this driver, I ran SpeedTest a couple of times while connected to my 5GHz and averaged around 20 ping, 105Mbps down, and 10Mbps up. I pay for 100Mbps. I docked a star to the rating because the connection to my WiFi network drops after gaming for a couple of hours. I also had to get a USB cable to connect the WiFi adapter directly to my MOBO to reduce the frequency of the disconnects. *NOTE: Anytime that W10 pushes through an update, you will need to reinstall the 1030.19.0103.2017 driver. When W10 updates, it seems to automatically update the network driver for this WiFi adapter to some generic driver that does not work well AT ALL with W10. So after a W10 update, you need to go to Device Manager. Under Network adapters, right-click on "Linksys WUSB6300", click Update driver > Browse my computer for driver software > Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer > Have Disk... > Browse, then navigate to where you saved the driver. Then click "OK" > Next. Now you should have successfully installed the W10 1030.19.0103.2017 driver!*

Item works as advertised. Came with an installation disk, but it wasn't needed. Truly plug and play. Linksys makes great products, but you're going to have to break out the checkbook

This product serves the purpose that I bought it for but it is on the large size. I would have preferred a small size. Make sure to read instructions on box on how to download drivers.

There were no difficulties in setting this up on two laptops. Plugged it in, ran the setup, and provided my router login info. Piece of cake, but I wish it wasn't extending out of the chassis so much.

Allowed me to pick up Comcast 5G channel (instead of 2.4). Dramatically increased Internet download speed. Easy to install. Worked the first time. I tried others that did not install nearly as easy.

This was my first experience with setting up a wireless network. The instructions were very straightforward and simple to follow. I had it set up in a relatively short time with no problems afterwards. It is great to have the TV and blu ray player in one room and the computer in another without having to run cables through the house. I am in my sixties and happy to help dispel the stereotype that older people can't grasp modern technology. On a side note our children and grandchildren are very happy to be able to be use there smartphones when they visit.

I had my doubts seeing the was a USB plugin wifi adapter. I plugged it into the rear of the computer to avoid accidents with it being plugged onto the front. Had a hard time connecting to the router in the house. Might have been due to the USB version of the porys in the back. Once I plugged it into the front it was able to connect. Still not crazy about how far out it sticks from the frnt of the computer but it is working for now.

    Great for an apartment

My apartment has one room without any cable connection in it (long story) and I needed that specific room for my home office. I didn't want to run a 30' Ethernet cable since I am clumsy and would have likely tripped over it. This adapter just plugs into the back of my PC easily, the software download was simple, and now I have Internet access. The only problem is that I don't have a full 5 bars whereas my other devices (cell phone, laptop, etc) have the full 5 bars when in the same room. It doesn't seem to affect my connectivity, so I'm not all that worried about it.

The Linksys AC adapter works perfectly with the WRT-1900 router. Network speeds are optimum and it was easy to install. Make sure you install it in a USB 3.0 slot for optimum performance.

This was easy to install and it has sped up my wifi speed as I had hoped. It is a little bulky but that is probably due to the need for antenna space.

Its been very good with keeping a connection, well i will say i have a linkys router so milage may vary. But it keeps good consistant speeds my peak on wire was about 60mbps with this looking around 25-30 about half but thats to be expected with a wifi module
