There were no difficulties in setting this up on two laptops. Plugged it in, ran the setup, and provided my router login info. Piece of cake, but I wish it wasn't extending out of the chassis so much.

Allowed me to pick up Comcast 5G channel (instead of 2.4). Dramatically increased Internet download speed. Easy to install. Worked the first time. I tried others that did not install nearly as easy.

This was my first experience with setting up a wireless network. The instructions were very straightforward and simple to follow. I had it set up in a relatively short time with no problems afterwards. It is great to have the TV and blu ray player in one room and the computer in another without having to run cables through the house. I am in my sixties and happy to help dispel the stereotype that older people can't grasp modern technology. On a side note our children and grandchildren are very happy to be able to be use there smartphones when they visit.

This product works great! My wifi did not work at all and I was going to have to pay at least $100 to get it fixed. This product works perfectly and is so simple to use. I recommend this to anyone!

    Great for an apartment

My apartment has one room without any cable connection in it (long story) and I needed that specific room for my home office. I didn't want to run a 30' Ethernet cable since I am clumsy and would have likely tripped over it. This adapter just plugs into the back of my PC easily, the software download was simple, and now I have Internet access. The only problem is that I don't have a full 5 bars whereas my other devices (cell phone, laptop, etc) have the full 5 bars when in the same room. It doesn't seem to affect my connectivity, so I'm not all that worried about it.

I got the adapter because my Dell Optiplex 7010 had no wifi. Installed easily, works flawlessly with my setup. My advice is do not go with a cheap wifi adapter!

The Linksys AC adapter works perfectly with the WRT-1900 router. Network speeds are optimum and it was easy to install. Make sure you install it in a USB 3.0 slot for optimum performance.

Pretty decent download and upload speeds for the price and ease of use. It's literally plug and play. What I find most impressive about this product is I actually crushed it against the wall accidentally and it got bent completely. I just straightened it out and it still works great!

I had my doubts seeing the was a USB plugin wifi adapter. I plugged it into the rear of the computer to avoid accidents with it being plugged onto the front. Had a hard time connecting to the router in the house. Might have been due to the USB version of the porys in the back. Once I plugged it into the front it was able to connect. Still not crazy about how far out it sticks from the frnt of the computer but it is working for now.

This was easy to install and it has sped up my wifi speed as I had hoped. It is a little bulky but that is probably due to the need for antenna space.

Works Well on an Older Computer

I installed this on an older computer that is over 100 feet from the router. I haven't had issues with this, but have had issues with the USB port on the computer. I had to step down to the 2.4Mhz range so the USB port could handle the speed. We also have an old phone that uses 2.4Mhz and I believe it is causing the phone to drop off line now and then. Sometimes, I also think this interference may slow down the connection speed of this adapter as well... It is still, however, fast enough. I am giving this 5 stars because I believe it would work great with a newer computer and wouldn't interfere with a newer phone that is capable of dealing with competing (interfering) devices.

    Decent performance yet flawed design

I still have a kind of "prehistoric" Dell PC that did not have the by now standard wifi adapter included in its base config. Instead I have to plug in and use some form of USB wifi adapter. The Linksys WUSB6300 USB 3.0 adapter is a simple plug-and-play adapter that does the job as advertised. I deducted one star because it's lengthy stick-like design can make it hard to stay in place sometimes. It is slightly "top heavy" and with older or more used USB ports that means it is susceptible to sliding out of the USB port. I lost the first one of these because my wiener dog in walking by bumped it's butt against it and it bent.

Purchased this for my child’s gaming desk top that didn’t have WiFi built in. This is the model that the Best Buy associate recommended. Easy setup and worked great!
