Besides needing to access the internet to download a driver for this, a device that lets you access the internet, it works as intended. There is a small issue that I'm not sure if caused by this device or its driver but when the computer is turned on while this device is plugged in can make this unit turn off and on again repeatedly where the computer thinks its being pulled in and out. Unplugging and plugging back in fixes this.

Reliable wireless adapter that seems to hold the connection without problem. It was easy to install on a Windows 8.1 Desktop. I cannot comment on the range, because the router is nearby.

I originally bought this to use for a Mac however it is not compatible. I decided to use on my pc. It has great through put and have no connection issues.

This network adapter is pretty fast. I connected it to my laptop ease. Windows 10 found it, and install drivers.

This item was very useful for my moms older computer which didnt have an open slot for a wireless card to go on the mother board. I did have to use MY computer to DL the latest drivers and install that onto moms computer using a flash drive but then installation was easy and it has good range within the house. Nice easy USB solution to a non wireless computer.

Plug it in. Wait for the OS to see it. You're on wireless. Simple. Stick with a USB 3.0 interface. But works great on 2.0 too. I get 61 Mbps through it per SpeedTest.net

Bought this for a laptop which could not have the internal card upgraded. Great speed increase for the laptop and easy to install.

Plug and go. Device is approximately 40 feet from router through a floor and several walls. Great connection and speed.

It's basically plug and play. I have it in a computer upstairs and my router is downstairs, so that's a plus. And it's AC, so it's good for future upgrades.

We urgently needed wifi adapter because old one died. We bought this at BestBuy and I am very happy with this purchase. The only hassle was it did not detect driver on windows 11 right away. You have to go to the site it says in the setup manual to download the driver. It is a one time setup and other than that, it is an excellent adapter. Very fast and exceeded our expectations.

Its been very good with keeping a connection, well i will say i have a linkys router so milage may vary. But it keeps good consistant speeds my peak on wire was about 60mbps with this looking around 25-30 about half but thats to be expected with a wifi module

This product serves the purpose that I bought it for but it is on the large size. I would have preferred a small size. Make sure to read instructions on box on how to download drivers.

This USB adapter works great! I'm able to get full wireless connection from my router to my PC on the second floor of my house. Installation was easy and all for a great price.

I would recommend instead installing a dedicated adapter to your computer or laptop, if applicable. Reason being is depending on the resources your device takes up, that 3.0 USB port can short. Then you have only the 2.0 ports to use, which won't be as fast as the 3.0 resulting in intermittent drops and latency. but if you have no choice, then this is the BEST BUY for your buck. Just don't download that stupid proprietary software Netgear wants you to use instead of the regular Windows Network Connection. I'm never a fan of something you don't need that adds to your start up and programs.
