Now if you have a desktop without wifi or your wifi in your laptop has died, this would be a great thing to have. Most of what the positive reviews have said are true. Plug it in and BAM it's working. Does occasionally need to be reset, but very reliable. BUT if you are using to upgrade to dual band, do not waste your money. IT SLOWED MY CONNECTION DOWN! I don't really blame the device, just all those articles that say "Oh get yourself an plug-in wifi device to improve your connection!"

The adapter supports up to 300Mbps on the 2.4GHz band and up to 867Mbps on the 5GHz band. Updating the driver might help to improve the connection of the device. If not, let’s have our Escalation Engineers investigate the challenge further instead. I tried re-installing and everything, and nothing. I ended up trading it in for a slightly more expensive but better product.
