Luckily, I had someone from the Geek Squad help me out with that one as he knew where to get the drivers. The drive itself is also too big for its own good. If you have two USB ports next to each other and you plug this into one of them, you're not going to be able to use the other.

Worked really well...for 2 days

As with the title, it worked really well for 2 days. On the third, it would not power on or connect at all. I took it to Geek Squad at the store I purchased it at and they could not determine why. They told me they would give a full credit towards a replacement and recommended a product. Did the exchange and all is well.

Only worked for 3 weeks.

I followed the directions and installed the driver for this device and it didn't work. I uninstalled the driver then reinstalled it and it worked good until 2 days ago. 2 days ago I noticed that it could no longer find my WiFi signal, so I uninstalled the driver and reinstalled it and it still didn't work. I did that 3 times and it is still unable to find any WiFi signal, and even though my computer knows I have the adapter plugged in, there are no lights lighting up showing that the adapter is getting power. I think I'm at the point to where I'm going to have to pay someone to run a harewire to this computer. I purchased this on 6/15/2021 and it stopped working on 7/7/2021.0

The Linksys WUSB6300 Adapter uses the standard USB port so it should stay securely to your PC to provide a stable internet connection. To isolate, try another USB port of your laptop or another PC and check if it behaves the same way. On Windows 10 with latest up to date drivers, I experience continuous network drops and sometimes I have to unplug it from usb and plug it back in to get it to work. My computer is newly built and have tried multiple usb ports but the issue is the same. Gave it to my friend who has Windows 7 and has the same issues. When it works it's great but overall, I'd recommend getting something else.1
