It is best to use a Wireless-AC adapter to connect to a router that supports the Wireless-AC standard to achieve the maximum connection speed. Updating the driver can also improve its functionality. Don't waste your money or time!

I expected much better quality and service from Linksys! Could not get this Adpter to work. The driver was in a zip file which requires you to have the Zip File wizard program. I paid for theZip Wizard which after downloading and installing did diddly squat to help open the drivet file. Went to the Linksys site to get help...no such thing! No technical or customer service AT ALL ! got my money back from the Zip Wizard Uninstalled the Zip drive and took the piece of junk back! I would revommend that Best Buy Discontinue selling this product!

Poor speeds

If you are patient with waiting for your internet pages and other programs to load this might be good for you. I intended to use this on my backup office computer at home and it did not meet my expectations at all.

However, this is really a bad review against Best Buy as they would not exchange product after 15 days, so I had to waste $40 rather than exchange. Inexcusable considering the options these days. Will stop shopping at Bestbuy.

Decent bang for the buck...

It may not be the adapter's fault and it may just be that I need a range booster, which I'm skeptical about since the router is only 20 feet away in another room.
