I live in what Comcast calls a "high traffic area". I have 3 roommates and we are all on our devices at the same time during the "most used wifi times" of the day. One of the devices wasn't picking up the speed available through Comcast and was consequently getting kicked off the internet regularly. It was recommended to buy one of these to boost the speed to what it should be. This little device does the trick quite well. Thanks Best Buy for your knowledge and recommendation.

It was very easy to set up and has great range. An excellent pairing with my Linksys router.

I bought the wrong thing. It did work well for what it was made for, but i had to return it later. At least it was a good price, and the return service is super easy with best buy.

After installing this on my laptop, my internet speed is super-charged and the signal is stronger than ever.

This USB adapter was easy to install and gives my computer a high speed wireless connection.

I was able to get this adapter to work on a Dell desktop PC running Windows 7. It took a while to find the drivers and get them installed, and along the way I received a warning msg that proceeding with the installation may destabilize my system. But it worked. Good speed and very few problems since then.

Unfortunately, I bought this device before learning online that it is slow, poorly designed, and extremely expensive compared to ANY other product on the market. (I now have a generic device that is tiny, twice the speed and performance, and less than half the cost.) I bought it from Best Buy, and SADLY did not get the Best Buy extended warranty. (Always get the Best Buy extended warranty.) I am currently a month outside of the Best Buy warranty, but have 9 days to go on the Lyncsys warranty, which allows refunds and returns for up to 90 days. Except Linksys/Belkin won't honor it. I heard various explanations for this--they had to ask Best Buy and *they* said no, there isn't a warranty unless I bought it directly from Lyncsys/Belkin, all they can do is replace it. They are replacing the slow, poorly designed, and extremely expensive device with another slow, poorly designed, and extremely expensive device, and that is their response to my request that they actually do what they promised. I've had probably 10 Lyncsys or Belkin products in the past, which all worked very well. I don't know why this one is an aberration, or if my customer service experience is an aberration. I will soon have a new, in-box Lyncsys WUSB6300, which I won't use, and a deeply dissatisfying and disheartening opinion of Lyncsys and Belkin as businesses, which I will use to guide my future purchases.

The Linksys adapter worked well up until 5 days ago when it simply died. It's no longer doing anything but being dead. I have replaced it with a Netgear adapter which is working fine and is significantly less expensive. I'm told by friends that their Netgear adapter's work well and are long lived. So much for listening to Best Buy's salespeople recomendations. Live and learn.
