It tries to redirect you too a subscription for the provider company but turns out you can just close it after the initial driver install and it still works perfect. Been using it for a month now with similar ping to my original hardline connection!

Bought this and now my computer connects instantly. Also did an internet speed test w/ both my old and new receivers and this one is definitely faster.

Just what I needed

I'm live in a ranch style house. The router/modem from Brighthouse is at my command center in the middle of the house. My PC is in the Master bedroom. There is a bathroom, a kitchen, and a living room between them and I have near perfect reception. Steam downloads at 90 Mbps. My connection is 100 Mbps. I love this thing.

Great value. 3. It feels like it was well constructed meaning that the usb is not some small flimsy device that will easily break. 4. It quickly solved an easy problem which was making a desktop wireless so it can connect to the internet. Cons... 1. They should put in big letters that you need to be connected via wire to the internet to install and activate this device. It might seem intuitive and I was fortunate to have the right setup, but I can see how someone can just think that it would be plug and play, but it is not as you do need to download the drivers for it.

The website is not very easy to navigate. I had to find the drivers on line because the laptop does not have a cd drive. It would be nice if they had the software actually on the USB device, eliminating the need for a cd or their website.

The distance from our router to the desktop was too far to run an Ethernet cord. I bought this on the app and had it in hand 2 hours later with curbside pickup. I haven’t heard one complaint so that gets 5 stars in my book lol
