Linksys - AC1200 Dual-Band Wireless USB 3.0 Adapter - Black This is the easiest (and cheapest!) way to make your pic wireless to take advantage of home or home office networks. Follow the install directions carefully and in a few minutes your computer will be locating and using the nearest wireless network. Sure beats running Ethernet cable to your computer's location!

Could not get it to connect at the 5ghz speed with drivers included in the box. Downloaded the Realtek driver (WUSB6300_1030.28.1002.2017_Win7X64) and it connected. Great signal strength, no problems after driver fix. Apparently some people don't have the driver problem, but I wanted to mention it, in case you do.

This did the job of adding wireless to an IBUYPOWER rig that I did not keep. Ran it for three weeks (3 different rigs, all with issues with major components) and this was the best part of the computer....knowing this did not actually come with the computer. Would definitly recommend to anyone looking to make a computer wireless capatible. Fast and easy to use.

I was having plenty of disconnects and dropped signals until I realized Windows installed the wrong drivers. For basic PC users that use Windows 10 might have issues. Once you install the proper driver per instructions on Linksys website, it works like a champ. No issues since then.

You get what you pay for. I had gotten the cheapest adapter I could find and was having trouble on Teams meetings freezing up. Had the computer wiped and relaoded and still the problem continued. So I decided to upgrade to a better adapter and it solved the issue.

This has worked great for my old computer that does not have wireless. Can;t say how far it will go as it is in the same room as my router. Would give more stars but they sent the software on a disc instead of a usb stick so if you don't have a cd rom drive you would have to download the software for it if windows does not recognize it.

We purchased this to connect a Windows 10 PC to a Comcast/Xfinity hotspot. YouTube and other videos play smoothly with this setup, (no delay/buffering) as well as online games, such as ROBLOX and Minecraft. Note that the PC is located about 15 feet away from the Xfinity modem, with a solid reliable wireless connection, at 5Ghz. Overall, very satisfied for the price.

Before I plugged it in, I downloaded the latest drivers from the Linksys website. After downloading the drivers, I plugged the device into an available USB port. Windows 10 began to install drivers automatically. These drivers turned out to be the most up-to-date drivers available. Windows didn't even want to look at the ones I had downloaded. I've been using the device for weeks now and have experienced no problems out of the device itself. I did have to turn off all of the various power management options for USB devices, including those for the multiple USB root hubs and the Linksys adapter itself. If you have problems with the device disconnecting, especially while under the strain of hefty downloads, it is more than likely a Windows power management issue. You should be able to run a Google search for a solution. I have seen this happen with quite a few wireless adapters over the years while running Windows 10. Trust me, I have 20+ years of professional IT experience, and I owned my own IT business for 10 of those years.
