Netgear support said," The adapter was not compatible with my new computer". I returned it to Best Buy and got the Linksys AC1200 Dual-Band 3.0 Adapter and it was very easy to install and works great!

Only problem was I am too clumsy in moving the PC around when rearranging my office, and with the device sticking out from the PC where I plugged it in the back of the tower, I broke it. Not a device issue, had I paid more attention or plugged it in up front.

GREAT, but should be shorter

I hit it on stuff all the time. I just should have purchased the shorter ones that barely stick out. I will get a Linksys one later, but for now this works. I mean hello its a Linksys. :)

With usb slots being as close as they are, the thickness of the item leaves little room to fit the next item. Also, the item is tall. It sticks out rather far. If brush against, it could break easily and damage the computer.

Good Wifi replacement if needed.

Works great. The design, however is a little wide whereas it will overlap the USB port next to the one I install this item on my laptop. Thus you cannot plug another item in the second USB port that is sided by side.
