I had to buy this because my old one didn't work with the new windows 8. (Thanks Microsoft) It is truly a plug and play application. Super easy setup. The speed is decent. I mainly just use it to browse the net. Video streaming is fair with low to med quality playback. My router is around 20 feet away so I'm not sure how it reacts to longer range.

My son's dorm does not offer wired internet and his desktop PC didn't have built-in WiFi. Plugging this into a USB 3 port gave him very fast internet access and works flawlessly with Windows 10

Thankfully a decent product that works trouble free! Plug and play right out of the box using Win10. Fast speeds and no issues at all. Better 5g speeds on an older laptop than I get on my new dell. A definite purchase that I would do again.

Install and setup was dead simple and worked well.

The linksys AC1200 usb wireless worked fine 2 weeks, intermittent for another week, and completely failed after 3 weeks (confirmed by Linksys software/procedural diagnostics and Win 10 device manager). Could not determine source of intermittent fails till the device completely failed, since many things could cause dropout of the connection and network-related BSODs. So I am glad that once it was going bad, it failed quickly. Also, the diagnostic procedure and software feature was helpful. So they get 2 stars instead of 1.

Works great! Easy to set up and install. Very happy with this product. While my other devices lose connection this Linksys AC1200 stays connected, I'm very impressed with the quality and consistency this product offers...highly recommend it!!!

I have been struggling with my laptop when using wireless internet, very slow and no mount of tuning ect would help. almost to the point of buying a new laptop. was reading the reviews on different wyfy usb adapters. And bought this one and am very satisfied.like a new laptop.serfing the net is so much faster

Nice little device, performs in line with expectations!

I was having problems with my wireless card on my desktop, so I looked for a new wireless receiver card. Best Buy pointed me to this and I was hesitant, since it was an external USB plug-in. However, NO REGRETS. This is a great wireless receiver and can be plugged in on any computer that has a USB port. I am very happy with this product.

The adapter worked as expected. It linked up quickly on the laptop and provided excellent speed.

Works well. Easy to set up. Only complaint was store staff who had no clue what it did or what it was for.

I bought this because my pc didnt come with wifi. This works great and allows me to connect my pc to wifi with great service

As we prepared for this new on-line school year, we needed to figure out a way to boost the slightly older laptop coming from one child to another. For some unknown reason, the laptop that doesn't feel very old cannot connect to our 5ghz network. ??? Anyway, I digress, we needed a way to help this laptop get caught up with life. Thankfully this little adapter seems to be doing the trick. One issue to be aware of, when this is plugged into one USB port, the other port cannot be used, because the adaptor is so large & there are only 2 USB ports on this laptop. So far, this is still working for us because of the needs of this child, but we just wanted people to be aware of that.

Used to augment a mobo i purchased for mining wjthout built in wifi capability. This was easy tk use, wjth instructions and a working Driver in Windowss10, which is no simple or easy task.

Sorry for the late review it honestly I thought it would suck but it does it work well make my desktop and laptop faster then anything I recommend it to anybody that has slow speeds

Works great for my gaming PC. High bandwidth, fast, not many issues at all.

This is a great item. The internet service stays on without any interruptions. It was easy to install and its compact size makes it barely noticeable. It is great to be able to move the computer anywhere in the house without running cables throughout the house. Overall a reliable product that I would encourage anyone to purchase.
