My new home required that I have the internet router on the 4th floor and desktop on the 2nd floor. Internet speed was initially 2 MBPS. Using this adapter now getting 25 MBPS. which greatly improved performance.

Affordable option. We needed a WiFi adapter to connect our older computer to our WiFi network (WiFi 5 I believe) and this did the trick.

I bought a Lenovo PC stick, which works great, but the Wifi is extremely limited (specs say wireless B). I knew the PC stick was not a powerhouse but wanted to turn my not so smart TV into a streaming PC. Max wireless speeds before this Linksys wireless Dual band AC adapter were 2-3 mbps down and 0.5-1 mbps up and ridiculous amount of buffering watching streaming video. Adding this wireless adapter and using it instead of the built in wifi gave me download speeds of 20-25 mbps down and 4-5 mbps up.......wow, buffering gone! Very impressed and satisfied with this Linksys Wireless AC USB 3.0 Adapter ----- highly recommended!!!!!!

I was always afraid that the USB type for the Wi-Fiwould be unstable or would have a lot of speed dropped but this in not the case with this Linksys AC1200!! very doing a reliable job maintaining speed and strength

Our net reception from our router/modem is terrible downstairs. Either things take forever to load or don't work at all. Haven't had any problems since we started using this.

I bought this so I could do gaming on my computer. Works well. The only thing that I would change is the width. On my computer I can not use an adjacent USB port because the adapter is too wide and blocks the other USB port.

Needed to replace wireless adapter that failed. Installed easily and worked great. One problem is design and shape. If there two USB ports next to each other, this adapter will overlap and you can not use the other.
