I've been using a wifi adapter that only allows me to connect to 2.4 GHz band, it eventually kicked the bucket. Bought this and I'm able to connect to my 5 GHz now which is awesome. I've had it for almost 2 weeks, no problems and it works great. If you don't have internet connectivity and have no way to insert a CD into your computer, you WILL need to download the software on a different computer with a CD drive or from the Linksys site and move the files onto your computer via a thumb drive or something. I managed to connect long enough with my malfunctioning wifi adapter to download the software from the site to use this new adapter because I don't have a CD drive.

This was easy to set up with the included drivers on an older desktop Windows 10 system. System was originally using another very small USB NIC that was constantly disconnecting. This one solved the problem. Only issue is that I wish it was half the size. It sticks out a bit In the back.

This internet adapter was quick and easy to install. I use it on a computer that is furthest away from my router, about 45 ft away, in a bedroom and with this device I'm able to easily stream movies or play games online. Speed is fast, I highly recommend it!

I've been overall pretty pleased with this adapter. Speeds approach those of my wired connections. That said...recently, I have been having to remove and reinsert the adapter after booting up the computer. For some reason the adapter is not recognized occasionally during boot.

Works great on my Dell Optiplex 7040... easy setup and fast connection speeds.

great product, I have an older desk top, i thought the ethernet cable was bad that wasn't the problem. my internet provider told me about this, plugged it in computer recognized it very fast. works great,problem solved

He internal card was too intermittent when attempting to connect to the Internet. Since I have an ac router I thought this would fix the problem. And it did to a large extent. I now think it's a windows conflict with her old card (which is why I use Mac) This product seems to do its job well.

When my laptop would not connect to the internet, i thought my internet was out but when checking my I pad and phone they would both connect. I actually went into Best Buy looking to maybe purchase a new laptop, but the salesman recommended that I try this before spending all the money for a new computer. I chose this model as it came with a CD for installation and it was just follow the instructions on the CD, quick and easy to install. A quick note, the other models that they had of this kind of product required that you download the install from a web site, how can you download if your computer won't connect to the internet???

This adapter is one of the best one's I ever bought, it is very easy to use, even thought you have to install the software before to use it but it is an easy installation. The only bad thing, for me, it is little bit big and bulky. What I love the most about it, and the reason I bought it, it is because it has duel band.

I had bought the Netgear version of this adapter and wasted many hours trying to get it to work with a HP 8.1 windows tower. Not good when you know support people from having to contact them all the time. The Linksys worked great and NO problems. I needed this adapter for it's 5ghz function and I am most happy.

Works great and easy to install. Directions were very clear and simple. As soon as I installed it I had no more problems with my computer stopping and starting.

Great wireless adapter. Easy to install and use. I had an earlier version before but gave it to my son to use. This is a replacement. This is for a new desktop that does not have an internal device like a laptop does. Now my printers can now operate without having to be wired directly.

With My Wireless Router located in my Home Office. The Wireless Adapter Helps with Signal Improvement/Speed in adjacent Bedrooms. Have a Wireless Adapter in each of my Childrens Bedrooms and it has dramatically improved their Gaming/Computer Speed.

This Linksys - Wireless-AC USB 3.0 Adapter - Black was very easy to install especially for a tech challenged person like myself. I needed this plug in to connect my new desktop to my internet. I have had no problems and it works just as fast and efficiently as my laptop. This was a very good purchase.

I've been using Linksys equipment for years and have always been rewarded with devices that work as indicated. This wireless adapter followed that tradition. Easy to setup and worked just as indicated for a PC that is not in the line of sight of our router.

I don’t have a wireless card in my desktop computer and need one to connect to the internet. I needed one faster thank my old one because my son plays over watch and needed something faster. This was much faster and easy to install and has real range.
