This product didn't come with the CD and the software needed to be downloaded from the internet. If it was a replacement or an upgrade, that would be fine. But the fact that the software has to be downloaded from the internet defeats the purpose! My PC didn't recognize the adapter no matter which port I inserted the product in. I'm sure this is a decent product once it's up & running, but LinkSys should make it easier to set up (as with other products) by including the set up CD. What good is it to have a wireless adapter that needs internet connectivity to set up, when the very reason why you buy it, is to provide internet connectivity? Maybe it's just me... Scratching my head on this one...

If you have the WUSB6300 version 2 adapter, you should be able to install the adapter using Plug-and-Play Setup. However, you can use a flash drive and download the drivers from another computer to install the adapter.
