I was looking for an AC adapter for a system close to a router, but this one had to be powerful. I'm glad I found this Linksys one, because it does the job. I've been getting the dual-band speeds (867 Mbps) on it with hardly any fluctuation in speed. The setup was really easy.

Yeah so I was "elected" to help my father in law out with a computer that my wife purchased him, which of course I was glad to do. His new PC was Windows 7, and I seem to recall it did not recognize the adapter until the machine was rebooted (which as many may know on a virgin W7 machine especially nowadays, there are a LOT of reboots, especially after Office and other app updates are downloaded/installed, which can literally take hours). That being said, I think it was after the first, maybe second reboot that this worked good. The drivers on the mini-disc are really only meant for professionals that know how to navigate through it accordingly and they AREN'T made for the American consumer that expects it to guide them through everything flawlessly, somewhat because native language isn't English. But as my title speaks, once all the initial setup is done the adapter itself works great.

Easy to install, works without issues to deliver wi-fi connection to my desk computer from router in another end of the house

I got this adapter after updating my router. It was easy to setup and my data speeds are much better. The only complaint I have is this adapter doesn't have a stand like my old adapter so I could set it on top of desk instead of sticking out of a usb port.

I kept getting kicked off of my Time Warner internet service and nothing worked to fix it. Bought this wireless adapter and my laptop can now hook up to 5G, I haven't been kicked off since I installed it and I'm getting faster speed that the 50 mbps I am paying for. Great product.

I found this usb adapter to be pretty good. The connection is as fast as advertised. I just have an issue with its size. I can get in the way at times and you have to be aware that it is there so you won't accidently break it off when you move the laptop.

For those of you who do not have Internet access on your device. You need an ethernet cord or to download updates onto a USB on a separate computer with internet. I was an able to get it on my own. But luckily there is tech-support on the Linksys website. Were they helped me (via text chat).

Bought this for gaming, works very well and easy install. Havent had any connection issues and downloads are very quick. Updated to work with all windows versions, hadnt seen anybody else mention this.

It took me less than 5 minutes to run through the install. Once it was done I am getting great speeds and across a long distance with quite a few walls in the way, and my computer is on the floor under my desk.

I wish I didn't need this device but my laptop's built in wireless function stopped working and this device has restored full functionality. It seems to work at faster speeds than I had before on my 5 year old HP laptop. My only complaint is I wish it were smaller.

I ordered this adapter for an older desktop computer I own which does not have wifi built-in. It installed easily using the disk that came with it and it picks up a strong wifi signal from my wifi router which is about 45 feet away. I am very happy with the purchase.

My laptop suddenly lost the ability to discover networks. It had to be some kind of physical damage (IE kicked off the bed in the middle of the night. Anyways, I was tired of tethering my laptop to my cell phone, so I bought this Adapter. It was pretty simple to set up and it screams. I'm pretty sure it's faster than the original hardware I had. I definitely recommend this product if you have the same trouble I had, or even if you just want a faster connection via router.

The Linksys 3.0 adapter is one of the most convenient tools I have ever bought. My wireless unit went out when I was traveling and I purchased the Linksys to complete my assignment. It is easy to install and very reliable.

Very good at what it does, but if you have it near another USB device that also uses wireless, it will cause interference and both devices will suffer a decent amount. If you have a desktop and any amount of pc building experience, i'd recommend buying a pcie wireless card. if you dont have any slots, or are using a laptop, this is definitely worth the buy.

purchased for my sons custom build. Cheap and Easy way to get him wifi on his gaming desktop. This part was actually recommended by a store associate who uses it for gaming. He's had zero issues out of it. I tested it extensively while it was at my house and Im personally disappointed I went with the internal mounted option. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who has the need for wireless access on their desktop and especially for those who are not comfortable with tearing open their desktop to install new hardware.

I have a rather weak internet signal in my home office, and my old wi-fi card sometimes dropped it. This linksys wireless adapter gets me a much stronger signal. Finally I can STAY online! And it couldn't have been easier to set up. Truly plug and play. Definitely recommend.

I was having trouble connecting to the wifi with my older laptop, and tried this adapter. It works well, my one issue is that it is a bit wide, which can make it difficult to use adjoining USB ports. Otherwise, quite happy with the performance.

My last USB WiFi adapter died on me and bought this one, So far the WiFi adapter has performed near flawlessly and the range, speed, and overall functionality is very good. Any of the issues that I am having is with computer itself NOT the adapter.

You are supposed to load the CD and install something when you first use this. I am lazy and just plugged it in a USB 3.0 slot and started using it immediately. Picked up the router no problems. I have not had any connections issues since I purchased this.

Gives good speeds about 30 feet from router only issue is having to go online with pc to download drivers
