Didn’t work for my needs

Speeds only increased by 10mbps in my apartment from my living router to my office. Our unit is only 1,000 sqft and We have very limited access with how thick our walls are and I was expecting this product to help. I did like the idea that I could plug my non wireless devices into it to give them network. However, I Ended up purchasing a whole home WiFi system with the Ethernet ports from TP-LINK and performance is better and I get the speeds I’m paying for everywhere in my unit. Not worth the money.

Better than last extender

Random disconnects, hard to reconnect

Reasons for buying this was the 4 ethernet ports; and its web based set up. There is a WPS, however, it would not connect both 2.4 and 5ghz bands when using this method. I've had it lose power three times so far, each time it would not reconnect automatically as one would think. It would not show up in networks list. I had tried removing the power cord minimum 30seconds, reconnect it, let it boot, and it would still not show in networks list, even though SSID was set to visible. To add fuel to fire, after the reset button was used, and all settings were redone, I would still have problems with it working properly usually take me at least 2 resets to get it functioning. This all started after my return window had closed, I did buy the replacement plan, which I will need make use of before I buy something else. Note: The extender is connected to surge protector, no indication of it power any other device power issue.

One thing I will note, no matter where I put the router, the max speed I am getting from it, as a wireless extender, is like 150 Mbps. Not a problem, dramatically improved from what my PS4 was getting without it, but I did expect more.
