Great value for this device. I bought this for my parents and they don’t have spotty internet at their house anymore.

I have a two story home with a basement and while the router by itself would cover the entire home, the speeds varied considerably depending on where I was in the house. Adding this range extender was very easy and solved the problem. I can now enjoy great internet speeds everywhere in my house.

This was a store purchase based on the recommendation of the store associate. It was just as described. Easy to set up and use and helped cover the dead space in my signal.

Great product to have. Moved office further away from main router and now getting better reception.

The Linksys RE6500 is a perfect complement to my router and whole home tech gear. Installation improved transmissions significantly in far reaches of my home; including the lower walk-out level through/around stone and concrete walls. Extended range outdoors too! Huge improvement to my existing system.

I bought this to improve my internet inside the barn which is close to the house. After following the instructions it took quite awhile for the unit to connect. It seemed to work well for several hours then it lost the signal. I moved the unit into the house and tried to reconnect. It reconnected and worked as it was supposed to. Because the side of the barn is metal the extender was unable to maintain a connection and the signal was sporadic. The unit kept losing the signal and it did not work for my situation. I returned the range extender and will be looking for another solution to my problem.

Took several weeks of experimenting with locations for consistent coverage but once found it stays locked into the primary router. More of an issue with the primary router signal vs the Lynksys extender.

I needed an extender to reach the ends of my house as the router is located in the office in the basement. Extender works well with my Linksys router. Setup was easy.

Fairly small unit, easy to hide behind furniture. Set-up is not difficult but the instructions in the box are noot very detailed. Not sure about the claimed coverage, I don't have enough space to test it. Set it up for a fixed IP address.

It can go for hours without fail, but generally, a few times a day, it loses connectivity and reconnects. Nice that it reconnects automatically, but in this time, it will drop your Internet connection or if you're on one, a WIFI call. As such, the device is completely unreliable. I would not recommend it or buy one again and if I opt to replace it, I'll look at other brands. The only pro is that it's really easy to setup.

Placed several within my home on both floors. Since doing so WIFI reception in home is EXCELLENT!

Love the big screen (60 in). The smart TV features are also a lot of fun. Really enjoying our purchase.

needed better wifi coverage around house and in the yard. This item was easy to install and does exactly what manufacturer said it would. Great coverage.

Originally purchased to work with a Belgian Router. Eventually had to replace some canning and ended up going to a Mesh Router. Does not work with a Mesh Router. But the Extenders can be very useful.

Easy to set up and fairly reliable so far. Had a bit of a problem when the electricity went out during a storm, but was temporary. Overall I would recommend it for a medium sized home.

Works well but had to add an extender to carry signal throughout my entire home - upstairs and down.

I got this for our local school to extend the WIFI further down the hall into classrooms. Setup was ridiculously easy and it gives a strong signal.

Had trouble getting wireless coverage in finished basement - this helped resolve the problem.

Moved my office to the basement, so needed to extend WiFi access point. Plugged it in, set it up, and had it running in about ten minutes. Works really well.
