    Bought this item to use in my RV while in campgrounds with weak WiFi signals. It boosted my signal from very weak to full bars. The only down side is that there is no way to speed-up the service---not the fault of this item.

    Great for getting your wifi signal out in your garage and around your house if that is something that you wish to have in your property. I would recommend buying a lynksys router to go with this extender for an easy setup

    This item extended the range of my WI-FI into the corners bedrooms of my basement, which is the reason for the purchase. The speed of the internet did suffer a little bit, but streaming is still possible.

    Difficult to setup initially. Once setup the range and performance are great. I decided to go wtih a unit that already had good range instead of installing this range extender.

    This product basically creates a new network and then connects wirelessly to your existing network. You cannot use it as a wireless access point on a wired network. Also, since it is a new network, you need to continually switch networks if you move into range of the other one.
