I had no issues putting the range expander in. It also gave me the chance to "plug in" my receiver in my living room for wifi access. Good price too.

This gave a very strong signal in my backyard on my cell phone, which is why I bought it. I had to connect it to my cable modem/wifi-router with a long ethernet cable in order to set it up in another part of my house. But that is better than the ones that claim to connect to the wifi source wirelessly.

Worked but not enough range. However, it was very easy to set up. We had to go with the Verizon range extender to make it work fine tire house.

      Hi, GoBrien,

The range extender should boost the wireless connection of your router. Proper placement of the unit is one of the workarounds that would help improve its coverage. It is recommended to plug in the range extender midway between your router and the area without Wi-Fi. Also, be sure you have at least 50% of your router’s Wi-Fi signal at that point on the device you used for setup.

If you still have the product, our Escalation Engineers would like to help you get it working as expected. Please email us your contact information at [email protected] so that they can contact you as soon as possible. Indicate the link to this review for our reference.

It works pretty good as long as I have it in range of my router. The only thing is that it is hard to know if it is getting the signal from my router. Sometimes it loses the signal from my router and I can't tell. It only has a light on when it has power. It would be nice if it had some kind of light to tell me that it is getting the wi-fi signal from my router. I would probably recommend to just buy a better router with a longer range.

      Hi, Mikey77,

The Power/WPS LED status should be able to help you identify if the range extender is online. You may refer to this article to know what the light means: http://www.linksys.com/us/support-article?articleNum=136115
