Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed to get a stronger wireless signal from my Uverse router, in the back corner of the lower level, to the front main floor opposite corner. This did it well. While this Linksys COULD be placed midway between the existing wireless router and where I needed a stronger signal, I really wanted to hook it to my network through Ethernet cabling, and then create a wireless access point beginning with a full strength wired connection. I already had Ethernet cabling around the house and hooked this one up to that cable fairly close to where I needed the stronger wireless signal. This did the job, I now get a very strong wireless signal in the front corner of my house, and the signal it's offering is from a wired Ethernet connection.

I'm pretty happy with the performace.

The signal strength is great & we can now stream to our tv, laptop or tablets in our master bedroom. I am happy with this purchase & do recommend it.

It's done what we needed and very happy. Easy set-up and no problems at all.
