This was installed in a 4000 sq. ft home with 3 levels and does exactly what it is designed for. Wonderful price for it also.

Super simple and it works great

My devices only see my original router, but this extends the reception to the places that were weak before. I put it above my basement drop ceiling and every corner of the basement now gets full wifi!

Okay for a while

For a while it was working good it did get better for my tv outside and slowly the tv started buffering. I was pretty pleased but the other day I cannot get it to connect and light stays red all the time.

Make sure that your router has a stable Internet connection and that the Linksys range extender is properly connected to your router. As a workaround, reboot your network and relocate the Linksys RE6500 closer to the router.
