After attempting to connect this device, the system that it was supposed to bridge was not able to connect to it, even though it showed that there was a connection. Ended up going with a plug in version that uses an Ethernet cord to plug directly into the device I was trying to bridge. The plug in was also about $30 cheaper.

Had purchased another wifi booster that had confusing/wrong directions and didn't start up automatically, was very very frustrating. This wifi booster was so easy to set up, plug in, follow on screen directions and it was set. To bad I wasted my money on the earlier one.

Bought this extender based on reviews and Tom's Guide recommendation. It did not cover the dead spots in my home well but when I gave it to my son to try it out in his place it works great. Covers 3 levels well. We have very little cell phone coverage at our home. I am assuming it has something to do with our home only. I am going to get another one of the same and try it out again.

I don't have a simple, consistent way of measuring how much real difference this extender made. However comparing it against a Netgear power line extender that I also purchased to feed wired internet access to a mini TV on the 2nd floor, this Linksys product appears to be doing a better job. I wish there was an iOS app to make these comparisons more fact based.

I've had this for over a year now and in the beginning I had a little trouble getting it setup, but after getting over that hump, everything worked as it should. Customer Service sucks!!! It's hard to reconnect it your network if it loses signal or power. I hate that I'm "Brand Loyal" by nature, but if I wasn't I would try another brand...

My family and I were looking to find a range extender and we didn’t know which one to get. We have a Linksys router so we obviously went for linksys again and it’s exactly what we were looking for.

This is an amazing realtor. I am an IT and have a pretty extensive home network and the test environment. I would put this up against enterprise grade hardware any day ( for a non-enterprise or business critical environment )

What is nice about this extender is my actual router doesn't have antennas, so I placed this device midway through the home and it does have antennas, so the signal at the extreme distance is great

Connected great to the internet. Would not recommend being more then 40-50ft apart from main router. (Yes I tested distance) also hides really well. Only downfall is that I could not get the 2g connected for some reason.

Excellent signal boost! We have a three story home with the router in the basement. Signals would drop the farther the device from the router. Placed this one floor upon the opposite side and no more signal drops anywhere

Our church needed to extend its WiFi From the office to the sanctuary. It works better if plugged into the router via Ethernet cord, but wireless worked also. It was a little slower wireless
