Initially, it worked well to extend the WiFi signal. However, the signal would jam with storms which required unplugging/plugging in the device. After two weeks of use which fell past the return period, the signal from the device completely disrupted the WiFi signal form our ISP router. The device is no longer being used.

The Linksys RE6500 extender should provide a stable WiFi signal and not disrupt other WiFi signals. I had to call their tech department and we eventually got it going. If their instructions were better, I could do it myself without the frustration.

Once home I attempted to install it. When I set it up in the location where I thought would be ideal I was encouraged when the graphic came up in the setup screen on my computer that I had chosen an ideal spot. After about 5 minutes of waiting for the device to find my router it finally told me it could not see it. After moving it closer and closer and about 5 more tries, could never get it to see my router. Turned router and modem on and off several time and still nothing. I've put it on a shelf until I have time to call LinkSys and try to walk it through with a technician. Very disappointed.
