    After returning a router to the local Best buy store, ordering a router online, which never delivered, I purchased this one for my aunt at the local store. Once I set up and activated the router, it worked great and she loved it. It came with it's own password which is great. There was no reason to add a password for wifi protection. Linksys routers are overall good routers. I definitely would recommend this router.

    I have my own cable modem provides up to 300Mbps with cable connection. This router much faster than this but I was so happy to see that my computer located upstairs could reach the same speed through wifi connection as if it was hard wired. It was amazing! As I stated in the title, it looks ugly but it is a great router.
