Replaced an old Asus router with this and couldn't be happier - inexpensive easy to set up - great range

My previous Netgear AC1200 router could only pull down 96 mbps, and the download speed dropped significantly when i was more than one room away from the router. With this one, I am able to pull down 230 mbps from anywhere in the house including the garage, which was previously a dead zone. One caveat: when i initially connected the router to my modem using the skinny ethernet cable that came with the modem, i could only draw 100 mbps. I was going to return the router to Best Buy, but I happened to try a thicker, high-quality cable I had on hand, and that opened everything up!

I bought this because our old D-Link was repeatedly dropping our internet connection to our cable modem (we tested by connecting directly to the cable modem with a device to determine that internet was up even though we could not access it through the D-Link). We set up the Linksys for use with our laptops and home network since we needed 100% reliability to work from home, and then utilized an ethernet wired connection to take output from this and run it into our old D-Link, which we continued to use for streaming. Amazingly, since we did this we have had 100% reliability from both our new Linksys and our old D-Link, so we are very happy!

I have a 1600 sq foot house and this thing gives me a strong signal through out the whole house and in the yard. Very easy to get set up and going.

This router which simple and easy to set up right out of the box. Great signal strength within our 2 story condo. A great product for the price, well worth it.

The router is exactly what I needed for my situation. It has the right amount of range for my home and enables my electronics to work at an acceptable speed.

I needed a new router. Wifi was not consistent on cell phones in the house. I had a Linksys that was about 15 years old. After reading reviews and comparing, I chose this router. I am not a tech, but it was easy to set up as promised. It arrived in less than 48 hours also which was a big help. I would definatley recommend this for anyone.

The Router has provided great speed and security. No issues with our printer, television, phones, or computers. Geek squad did a great install.

purchased on sale- Great speed and UI for the price. Bought this to help get a customer's security camera system online. Port forwarding is a breeze unlike other brands that try to hide it behind "plug-n' play" type functionalities. Initial setup was also incredibly easy. Wifi coverage and speeds seemed to be pretty good, but I never tested them as the SSID was being hidden and used for installer use only. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for the wifi coverage this router is advertised for. Zero issues with it as of October 3, 21.

Our router went out and per the other reviews and prices, we chose this one. It was simple to install and seems to be working as described.

This was a great purchase, as it offers great signal for our various devices even on the lower level, and is a good value when on sale.
