So far so good
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this router after my previous netgear night hawk router just stopped working. Have been using for some months now and have only had to reset once. I have multiple devices connected at any given time and it handles everything smoothly. The app comes with the expected features and works well also. Overall I am satisfied with the performance and would recommend this device.

Reliable AF
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I won't lie, initial setup was a little tricky, but I'm going to take the blame for that. However, since set-up this router has worked amazingly well. Zero issues and efficiently has about 10 devices using it at any given time. The range seems to be very solid as well, I have no issues in my basement (Rambler house) or in my yard. Would buy again.

Stable but slower
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this to replace my Netgear R6400 that keeps losing connection to the wireless printer. It does a great job there. Setup is pretty straightforward and the signal is pretty strong throughout the house. Speed is not so strong. 400 Mbps plan, never testing over 310 down and 21 up, even 5 ft from the router and solely on 5Ghz. So, back she goes, R6400 is back up and the second speed test I get 459 down and 21 up. Maybe I will try ASUS if this keeps disconnecting from the printer

Posted .Hi K0S0H,
The Linksys MR8300 Mesh router should deliver a speed of up to 2.2 GHz to multiple devices. You can try to use the channel finder on the Linksys app as wireless interference could cause issues to the Wi-Fi speed. Also, make sure that its firmware is updated.

Good Router if you Networking is not your thing
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Don't get me wrong. This is a decent router. But if you have any decent networking skills, you'll want something different. For me, I'm using pfSense with Ubiquiti Access Points throughout my house. It simply has more horsepower, more features and costs about the same. Like I said, this is a good router - the WiFi bands and good and coverage is decent, but no matter how many antennae you attach to it, the range is limited and you have to content with any physical obstacles that could potentially reflect/block the radio signals. The feature set is good and the firewall is pretty good - it has all that the average homeowner needs. It's also very easy to use and to set up. Linksys (Cisco) did a good job thinking of how the user interacts with this product. Why did I buy it? Well, it was against my advice because I could build a pfSense router far cheaper and we ended up going that way because the condo we have is so solid and the place we have to place the router is like a faraday cage with all the reinforced concrete it has to go through. Since I had to run cables for more APs, we decided to do what I originally wanted and put the Ubiquiti APs. If you get this router you won't be disappointed...I'm just saying there are options out there that you'll be really happy with.

Posted .Hi, Pretorian,
Aside from physical obstructions, we must also consider frequency interference from other devices. You may try relocating the Linksys MR8300 in the center part of your condo and check if you got a good range. We can also have our Escalation Engineers help you with this by sharing it through email at [email protected] with your contact info and the link of this review, for our reference.

Linksys does it again beautifully!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Setup was extremely easy, coverage throughout house is great, can easily connect other Linksys routers/mesh system through app, parental controls are easy to configure, many administrator options for absolute control over your network, very good security and helpful tool tips all through the downloadable app. As long as they keep making routers like this, I'm a Linksys fanboy all the way!

Great Low Maintenance Router
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very happy with this purchase. We bought this for our daughter after moving into a new apartment. I wanted something easy for her to setup and manage but would still provide good performance. This router met all of those requirements and then some. She can easily manage this router right from her phone. It has very good WiFi range and speed.

Great home router for working from home!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This works lightening fast and soo much better than the Spectrum router we were using. We live in a how with a lot of dead spots and this extended our range quite a bit. We can also go in to edit the specific features needed to work from home; Spectrum's routers are completely locked.

Very User Friendly
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When I upgraded my internet I also needed to update my router. Usually someone is installing my electronics, however this time I was on my own. I was very pleased that it was very easy to set up and has worked great. I do not have any problem with WiFi anywhere in the house. I highly recommend this product.

Excellent performance for a great price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I tried replacing my old Cisco router with a competing (more expensive) unit, had trouble with set-up and got no customer support. The AC2200 set-up experience was polar opposite as it was so easy. I did use the smart phone app method, so I can't vouch for an install if you don't have cell service while setting up. Covers our whole 2,500 sqft house reliably.

Great wireless router.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My Netgear Nighthawk started to fail after 2 years, kept dropping the 2.4 ghz and 5 ghz intermittently. This router was very easy to setup and get running out of the box. Signal strength is much better throughout the house, don’t need my range extender anymore. Mobile app is easy to use and configure new wireless home network. Highly recommend this router.

Great Router for households with multiple devices
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Being confined to the house was a real eye-opener on how bad my existing router was. Between my wife and I working at home to my kids doing school online, playing games video chats, etc there were times where my internet would crawl. I did a survey of devices and I realized that my old AC1200 could not handle the 20+ devices we had online at any given time. I decided to spend the extra money and purchase this router since it was part of the velop series and I would be able to seamlessly add nodes as needed. I was not disappointed, peak times at my house I would latterly crash and become useless. Since purchasing the Linksys AC2200 router my connection has been great, and no one has been dropping off the network. Just an example of the difference in the connection speed for this router compared to my old router. My ipad would max out at 80mbs download speed with my old router, but would usually get me around 30mbs. Now I get well over 300mbs, and my connection has not dropped at all. Connection was fast and easy it took about 10 minutes to setup, which includes the time to reboot my cable modem. I will be getting the velop node in the future so that I can connect better while on my back patio. I would highly recommend this router.
