Set this up a little less than a week ago, and signal strength has been reliable since. Setup is taken care of through the mobile app, and it's surprisingly simple & fast. Advanced settings are buried deeper in the web interface, whether this is good or bad depends on your use case. Not a fan of having to create a Linksys account to setup my router nor how it's impossible to disable remote access, which is why it only gets 4 stars.

This is a fast router. If you are looking for a basic router that provides you security, dual band options, and several ports this router works. I have a 3800sg ft home and it covers entire home. I have not had any drop issues. Actually this is my 2nd one of these. I bought a 2nd to seperate games and tvs vs. My home security and work laptops.

Super easy to set up and works great throughout my 2300 square foot house. I like the option of using the Mesh to expand out into the shop for the big-screen football games. I have used Linksys routers more than once over the years and have always had great luck, but this one is my favorite.

Having been dealing with the standard wifi router from Spectrum, this is a whole new world. I love having the greater speeds to what I need the most, gaming and downloads. I love that you can select up to three devices to prioritize and the range for service. Overall very pleased with this new unit and I would highly recommend it!

pretty fast, sometimes my ring system doesnt link as fast as i would like when i hit the home or away button.. overall simple to use with no issues. the app is no hard to use and works well right away. setup is simple and easy to follow as well. I am getting my internet speeds as well and i like how you can prioritize something to get internet first before anything else. for example you ps4 can be prioritized to get internet first

I bought this to upgrade from a 5 year old Netgear router. We do a lot of video streaming and online gaming. This router does a great job keeping up with the high demands we put it through. It has great coverage through our 2800sq ft house. It was also easy to setup. The only thing I would add is a built in print server.

We bought this router to replace the horrible one provided by Spectrum because their router always cut out. Since buying this router, we have yet to have our internet "drop" or lose signal. It even reaches upstairs to our son's room and he plays on his PS4 all the time. No glitches or drops. Super fast also.

Took me 5 minutes to setup with the Linksys app. I highly recommend that you remember your wifi network name. If you rename the network that matches your original router this will allow you to not have to reset up your devices. The household noticed speed differences right away and also have not been disconnect like the old Linksys router.

    Home Network Upgrade

Excellent upgrade from our now outdated AC1750. Had decent coverage across the house when first setting it up but after adding a Velop node every corner of the house gets the broadband speeds we pay for each month. Switching to a mesh network has eliminated the frustration of dealing with extenders.

Had to set up WiFi at Mom's house and the spectrum wifi unit was not able to give me the coverage. Best Buy Representative suggested this model, and I am very happy. The set up was very easy. And the range is Great. I have no dead spots. Very happy and would suggest it to anyone who is looking for a WiFi unit. Thanks John, Brooklyn, NY

I bought this router as I moved to a new area and didn't want to pay $5 a month to rent one from the cable company. It was super easy to set up. Was able to name the network and put in a password with no issues. It's currently set up in the basement on the East side of the house and covers my entire 1300 Sq ft home no problem.

Fantastic router with phenomenal range. Bought this for my parents house since they were using multiple wifi extenders that needed constant reconfiguration. With this router they only need one router for the whole house and it covers over 20+ connected devices

I purchased another brand router for twice the price that could not work properly. The linksys is by far superior to it. It was a breeze to set up and all 17 of my wireless devices had no trouble connecting and staying connected. I cannot say the same for the other router. I'm getting the full 225 mbps speed i pay for on wireless no less.

I haven't had to upgrade a wifi router in many (5 or 6?) years so it was a pleasant surprise to see that the installation was done completely through the linksys app. Super user friendly. I could see all my devices connected to the network, setup a guest wifi network, and configure most everything from the app. It has 2 different bandwidth speeds (2.4 ghz and 5 ghz) and the app auto-assigns devices (based on their need?) to those speeds. But there were some devices I definitely wanted on the faster bandwidth that it just was not assigning properly. I found out that if you use a desktop computer to access your wifi settings, then you can designate a special network name for each of the channels and then you can manually connect your devices to the network for the channel you want. I found this a huge benefit. Re: range. I have a 1000 sqft ranch with the router in the basement and it reaches decent enough to the other end of the house on the main floor (it does cut the wifi speed in half but still manageable). The cost was a little more than I was planning to spend, but again it has been a while since I purchased a wifi router. I'm happy.

I work from home and my 3-month old router provided by the cable company decided to quit working. Great. Once I had confirmed this with customer support, they tried to have another router delivered the same day. Well, that didn't work. Great again. So Mike ran to our local Best Buy and chatted with a couple of super helpful "Geeks" as it were. They convinced him this was much better than the one we had in mind and was more versatile to boot. Seems kinda idiot-proof in that we don't have to tell our phones whether we want the 2G or the 5G signal. Excellent! One less thing for us to think about. And we don't use the mesh yet, but might in the future. Heck, we'd never even heard of this mesh thing before the helpful young men explained it to us. So I feel like we were able to get a better router than we would have on our own. Seems to be working SO MUCH better than the router provided by the cable company and the Linksys App made it super easy to set up. In fact, the cable company support rep mentioned that he uses a Linksys router at home. So we were already leaning in the right direction. Thanks, Linksys and Best Buy for saving my bacon and helping me get back to work!
