This was to change from one of the Linksys Velop nodes doubling as a router and a node. This router has both the router and acts like a node, so now we have 4 nodes instead of 3. Better cost than buying a single node. Range is good, setup simple. Can start WPS from App on phone as well.

This is a pretty good router. Easy to set up. And the app related to this device is good too. I can see what devices are connected and on which bandwidth. I've had it a month and everything is running smoothly at home. No hicups at all.

This was an upgrade for older Linksys router that I was using. I wasn't having a problem with it, I just wanted to move some things around. WOW! What a difference. My speeds doubled instantly. Range increased instantly. So far I am very pleased.

this unit installed quickly and worked well. I didn't keep it as it didn't work well with hotspot as internet source. I bought a second unit for my daughter, it was hooked onto fiber source and provided a 250mbs signal through out house. Highly recommended

I previously had an AC1900 router which was dual band. This router is way better and cost effective. The signal strength is really good, setup is relatively easy and I like the Linksys app that helps manage the network names, passwords & guest access setup.

Our wifi provider-issued equipment stopped working. Also we discovered that we were never issued the proper equipment when we went to a higher level of speed a while back. We were excited that we could purchase our own router instead of continuing to pay rent on crappy stuff.

Finally decided to kick the Verizon Actiontec to the cube and upgraded to this. Super easy to set up and it got rid of a few dead spots in the house too. I look forward to adding another mesh ready footer to extend my range and speed to my back patio this summer.

This router covers all of a 3000 sq ft 2 story house. It is easy to set up and get going. I switched it to bridge mode in minutes and everything went smoothly. It supports 2.5 and 5Ghz connections and connected devices communicate at peak speeds.

Set it up in about 20 minutes. I already had a Linksys router so that may account for the easy setup. I should have did this a long time ago. Either this is the greatest router ever made, or I was really behind the time. I really notice the difference,

4 Gigabit Ethernet Ports and 1 Gigabit Internet Port Mesh System allows easy expansion by adding a Velop node Tri-Band (5 GHz + 5GHz + 2.4 GHz), 2x2 AC Linksys App controls the wireless network remotely Wall Mountable --SETUP AND USE— I added this router to an existing Velop system and found the setup process to be very easy. Since I already have a Linksys Mesh System, all that was required was using the Add A Device function in the Linksys App. Once the router was recognized and added as the primary node, I had to reset my secondary nodes. But once that was done my wireless network was up and running faster than ever! I am very impressed with how intuitive and smooth the Linkys App is. It makes setting up and managing the network simple, while also allowing for a comprehensive level of network management and customization. This router is Tri-Band (5 GHz, 5 GHz, 2.4 GHz) and should provide excellent coverage for up to a medium size home. If you have a large multi-story home or a problematic area, then where this router shines is the Mesh capability which allows you to add Velop nodes to expand the wireless network range as needed. Proper placement is important for adequate coverage. I am also utilizing as many of the wired Ethernet ports as possible to maximize my internet speed and reduce wireless traffic. Setup can only be done on a mobile device. The Mesh technology simultaneously and invisibly creates a single band comprised of both the 2.4 GHz and a 5 GHz bands. Creating a unified network from all the bands greatly simplifies connection and use because I no longer need to select between the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz band. Once I connect to my single network, the mesh system intelligently and seamlessly detects the capability of the device and configures itself. --BOTTOM LINE— The performance of the Linksys Router is OUTSTANDING! Once you have it up and running It creates a powerful, reliable, and consistent wireless network. When combined with Velop nodes, the Mesh technology expands the already powerful network to completely and seamlessly cover my two story, 2,400 square foot home.

I needed to replace my router that I’ve been using for almost 9 years and I opted for this one. It has WiFi 5 (802.11 ac) which is the current WiFi that is used homes right now and it can be installed using a mobile application. Installing it was not fun. The mobile application was easy to use but I had some troubles installing the router using the mobile application. There were a series of steps that was missing in the mobile app’s installation guide. How do I know this? I called customer support and they gave me extra steps that I believe should be included in the their mobile app. Calling their customer support for assistance was actually not bad. I wasn’t put on hold for more than 5 mins and the assistance was straight-forward to the point where I actually got the router installed within 5-7 mins. (User experience may vary). Within a month in use, the router has been in working optimally. All my devices are now streaming in blazing fast speeds that I pay a monthly premium from my ISP provider.

I got this home and had it set up pretty quickly. I had one hiccup trying to get it to connect to my modem due to the service provider, but I resolved it easily enough. The app to control the modem is very handy and provides a user friendly way to set up and manage your network.

The Linksys AC2200 Tri-Band Mesh WiFi Router is a fast addition for a small home (like mine) although it is not the latest technology. If your home is larger, you may need a booster and they are expensive, but work fine. Installation is easy.
