No complaints about this router! Really easy setup (you use a smart phone) and honestly the easiest router install I’ve ever done! Was up and running in 20 minutes. Range is very good and haven’t had a single issue so far with it.

Purchased this Mesh Router and one Velop Node and have excellent coverage in our 2100 sf ranch home. Thinking of my 9 year old router I was dreading the set-up- but this system was SO EASY to set up with the Android app!!!!!! I was amazed at how easy it was !!!

The dual band WiFi router does the job. Still learning this unit but appears stable and has improved range by the use of two bands.

    Good router for small house

I have cox gigabit internet and have been paying the rental fee for their modem/router combo for 2 years. I was done with that. I purchased this router along with the arris SB8200. Router was easy enough to set up (minus the coincidental internet outage that occurred simultaneously as setting up my new wifi. That drove me nuts!) just plug it in, open the linksys app and done. Our little house is 1245 sq. ft. so this router, which is placed in a central location provides plenty of range. In my office where the router is located, the speed test on the linksys app shows download speeds of 939Mbps frequently, tests throughout the day have never gone below 400Mbps. The little bit I know about internet bandwidth tells me that these test results show that the router is perfectly capable of providing optimal Wifi... When my ISP allows it. It has been about a week and have had no issues so far. It updates automatically. The app is convenient for managing my home network. Setup was easy. I would buy it again.

I've had this Router (and Mesh nodes) for 2 weeks and so far so good. I moved into an old house a few years ago (built in 1945 with multiple rooms, not open plan like newer homes). I went from a low end Netgear router a few years ago, to a $300 Asus one a year ago (which had almost no improvement), to finally this Linksys AC2200 and 3 Velop Mesh nodes. So far, with 5 laptops, a PC, 4 cell phones, and 3 Rokus, and whatever else is connected, the wifi coverage has been awesome (I have the Spectrum 200 Mbps plan). Plus, you can add more nodes if needed. Also, the Linksys App is a lot better than the Asus one. It is much simpler and easier to use.

I had an old router that was from 2010. Since working from home, I decided I needed more current router. I bought the Linksys - very easy to install, but it seems to lag sometimes. Not sure if it is Linksys or Spectrum, but all in all it is ok.

Got the best out of my AT&T 25/5 Internet

I live in a 1 bedroom apartment and have constantly been having issues with internet speed. After installing the router, bridging my AT&T 5268AC modem/router, and changing to WiFi channels with less traffic, my internet speeds have increased to 32 mbps download and nearly 5 mbps upload. I am now able to stream 4K video without an issue and with the tri-band feature, I can simultaneously perform multiple tasks on many different electronics without a drop in image quality. My only complaint with this product is the Ethernet cable included is unfortunately a category 5e. Since category 7 Ethernet cables are now cheaply available, this was an easy upgrade to achieve and does not affect my overall impression of the product. I’m highly satisfied with this purchase especially with the reasonable price point.

Read the instructions. First thing it tells you to do is to download the app on your phone. It will let you know what to do step by step on the app and set everything up for you. Easiest setup I’ve even been through. I have this paired with my Motorola MB7621 Cable Modem and get the speeds I get provided by Xfinity (Download 564 Mbps, Upload 17.4 Mbps, Latency 14 ms) You can easily re-name every device that connects to your WiFi, Make a device have priority, create a guest WiFi etc etc. You can’t go wrong with this product.

Rebuilding My Network to Go Mesh

This replaced an older Linksys router (AC1200) and I am well pleased. Easy set up and a straight replacement using the same network names. Love the fact it can be used as part of a mesh network which will be the next step to renovate my network. Working currently with an extender this new router has stabilized my home network. Love the additional two antennas as I have an L-shaped house that is partially brick. With the extender I am able to "bend" the signal and get it down the hall to the bedrooms. A Velop node will improve the signal even more. One piece at a time, one piece at a time.

Purchased this product to replace an old (and cheaper) router that was fried after the broadband cables were struck by lightning. This router is certainly an upgrade and feels like a quality product. Setup was not an issue for me; I'm not a fan of downloading yet another app, but in my opinion it's easy to use and set up, and is mostly glitch free. I have achieved the wi-fi speeds expected and have no issues streaming movies, videos or working remotely with constant data transfer. The only issue I've found is that I expected the range to be a bit better; some of the more distant rooms in my small-ish house get limited (but still usable) wi-fi signal. I added a linksys velop mesh node, which is set up to be compatible with this router, and has worked excellent since. Overall I am happy with my purchase and would recommend it to internet users living in up to medium sized homes with a normal amount of devices.

I had an older Linksys that lasted almost 8 years. Thought I'd try a Netgear and it was a disaster...didn't cover the whole house and after having to reset it multiple times per day, returned it and bought this AC2200. It works flawlessly like my previous! With the router on the second floor, I can simultaneously stream TV to the main floor and the basement at the same time. I've never had to reset it. Forget Netgear and get this Linksys. Our house is 2 stories and basement, 2500 sq ft, and it covers everything without using mesh.

Everything I have thrown at this router and it hasn’t even broken out in a pre sweat. And I am coming from a netgear nighthawk. The previous router wasn’t even that old but started suffering from random drops buffers intermittent issues etc. i decided to replace and future proof this on the premise of eventually extending to a mesh network. I love how simple it was to set up. The device prioritization works like a charm. I love how you can select tri band. Or have them go from one band to another if it’s clustered. Would recommend to anyone on the fence.
