It does the job very well, however, every few weeks it has to be rebooted. We figured it was our WI-FI system or something till we replaced this unit and have had zero issues. Do not recommend.

The unit does provide additional coverage but you have to select the extenders ssid. Your device will not roll to it automatically. It's essentially another router tethered to your primary router with unique ssid. Set up is pretty easy and is done via a device on your existing network.

extended wifi to areas where either had no signal or weak signal. while it permits activation using wps, i ended up having to use my smart phone to activate, but that may be because first location i used was too far from router and not receiving signal...but once activated is working just as planned to extend range

I've boosted a few different wireless signals when I needed some extra distance. It works well and pairs easily. The online instructions are simple to follow since I forget each time I move it to a new building or location. I've noticed good speeds with it. I might purchase one for my house just to help some of the dead areas. For work, it has been great!

I bought this to improve the wireless reception at my mother's villa, which is very poor, with the current router providing coverage for about two rooms only. This greatly expanded the range, and was pretty easy to set up. I am thinking of getting one for my own home.

Works great for smaller households. A better line of sight provides the best signal.

I placed the extender in our bedroom and now we no longer one or two bars but all four light up on signal strength. Even with our bedroom doors closed it works great! Good value and price.

This device extended a wireless network to the second floor. Was relatively easy to set up. So far works very well.

The Linksys range extender works great. We had a back bedroom that had low WiFi reception, but this solved the issue and makes downloading much faster and consistent. There is a “easy” setup bottom on the side for connecting to your router. I was able to get that to work. I had to go into the setup with my phone to get it to connect. Not a big issue, but not as easy as the setup button. That is my only complaint, but it wouldn’t stop me from buying it.

So, I purchased this wireless range extender to help with my sons' internet strength in their rooms. The router is in my bedroom, but their rooms are on the other side of the house. It worked...most of the time. For some reason, it still only gives my furthest room a slight bump in strength. Meaning, my youngest is only able to access the net when he's closest to the doorway to his room. That's the only thing stepping on the possibility of a perfect score. So, aside from that, it worked like a charm.

This was a great purchase, it definitely served the purpose.

My modem is n the basement. Getting wifi in the befrooms has always been difficult until recently when it was impossibke. I work from home so having a good connevtion is a must. I purchased this wifi extender and hard wired it … i am sooo happy i purchased this. I have no issues with wifi connection in my home.

I have a two-story home and my wifi range is very sketchy. I went online and read reviews on this particular product. I was satisfied with the positive reviews, so I went in store and bought it. It is a very easy install and as soon as it went online we noticed a huge difference. My home of 2700 square feet is now covered by wifi.

When it actually works, it works well. But it drops the signal at least a dozen times throughout the work day. My actual internet connection and wifi are NOT going out, but the extender drops the extended signal every half hour to an hour. It's extremely inconvenient because I'm basically guaranteed to drop from every Teams Meeting, Zoom call, WebEx etc that I join throughout the day and any online work that I'm doing constantly gets interrupted as I wait for the extender signal to come back up.

The Boost Range Extender was relatively easy to set up, and it may or may not work well. Unfortunately, I discovered that the problem I was trying to solve apparently wasn't related to the range of my modem - it is probably related to my Internet provider, as others have complained about it. But the product is nice looking, and I have no complaints about it.
