This greatly expanded the range, and was pretty easy to set up. I am thinking of getting one for my own home.

The router is in my bedroom, but their rooms are on the other side of the house. It worked...most of the time. For some reason, it still only gives my furthest room a slight bump in strength. Meaning, my youngest is only able to access the net when he's closest to the doorway to his room. That's the only thing stepping on the possibility of a perfect score. So, aside from that, it worked like a charm.

We had a back bedroom that had low WiFi reception, but this solved the issue and makes downloading much faster and consistent. There is a “easy” setup bottom on the side for connecting to your router. I was able to get that to work. I had to go into the setup with my phone to get it to connect. Not a big issue, but not as easy as the setup button. That is my only complaint, but it wouldn’t stop me from buying it.

Great product

I went online and read reviews on this particular product. I was satisfied with the positive reviews, so I went in store and bought it. It is a very easy install and as soon as it went online we noticed a huge difference. My home of 2700 square feet is now covered by wifi.

But it drops the signal at least a dozen times throughout the work day. My actual internet connection and wifi are NOT going out, but the extender drops the extended signal every half hour to an hour. It's extremely inconvenient because I'm basically guaranteed to drop from every Teams Meeting, Zoom call, WebEx etc that I join throughout the day and any online work that I'm doing constantly gets interrupted as I wait for the extender signal to come back up.

We figured it was our WI-FI system or something till we replaced this unit and have had zero issues. Do not recommend.

Unfortunately, I discovered that the problem I was trying to solve apparently wasn't related to the range of my modem - it is probably related to my Internet provider, as others have complained about it. But the product is nice looking, and I have no complaints about it.
