Easy to connect and powerfull
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I used the wifi extender in a warehouse where the verizon wireless router couldn't reach for the fartest point. This one was super easy to connect using the wps button in the device. Just push it in both (router and extender) and you have your wireless extender working instantly.

Wi-Fi range extender
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good product. Our home is not exactly Wi-Fi friendly, with the addition of this extender, I am now able to get a good signal throughout the apartment. Not the easiest to install, had to redo it several times, but once it finally took, it works well.

Works well, but range in the router is limited.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to set up. My first location was about 45 from the router, and it really pushed this unit to the edge. It kept dropping the signal and had to be rebooted. I moved it to about 35 feet from the router and now it stays engaged with a strong signal. For the price, not bad. A previous extender from another company was cheaper, but died after 6 months of use.

This extended our wifi to an office as needed
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We have an office that is the room farthest from our router. We were advised to try this brand for an extender that would work well. It is working just as we needed and I am having no issues loading websites or streaming videos.

Worked fine
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this and a new router since I had wifi issues on the second floor. The new router alone seemed to have enough range. The extender seemed to work fine but didn’t end up not needing it. Returned as it was pretty pricey.

ONE MORE THING TO TRY BEFORE RETURNING UNIT
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So if you are like me you read the one star reviews before anything else! I would rate this unit 5 stars because it gives me 5 bars. I live in a single story house. My wife and I live with her sister. The router is located in her bedroom and I access the wifi in my room which is on the other side. I placed the Linksys AC750 midway through the house. When I tried it I was lucky if I got 1 bar. I WAS READY TO RETURN THE UNIT. Then I went to my internet settings and saw that I had two settings for the house wifi (HOME-8501 & HOME-8501.ext) I changed the wifi setting to recognize HOME-8501.ext. Since then I have gotten 5 bars and that is even with the unit light not being GREEN but AMBER in color. GREEN shows that you are getting the best connection with the router. AMBER not as good. BOTTOMLINE this LINKSYS AC750 works great especially for the cost. Hopefully, this review will give others something to think about before returning the unit. When you first access the booster unit you will need to input your wifi security code/passwrd.

Posted .Hi, Poment,
An orange or red light on the Linksys RE6300 extender indicates there is a weak connection with the router. You may try the Spot Finder to ensure your Linksys range extender is in the right spot. ||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Worked just as promised by sales staff. I extended my WiFI to the other end of the house and now am streaming on my TV while before I couldn't. Set up was a breeze in connecting to my WIFI and then connecting to the TV.

Full Coverage
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I live in a 4000 sqft house and until now coverage was a little touch and go. Since the purchase of this extremely well priced extender not only is the coverage complete anywhere in the house but now it covers a portion outside as well. Great item for the price. Double Thumbs up Linksys.

First Range Extender
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My house is a large ranch set-up with a few cuts/ins-and-outs. It seems this is working okay. I have noticed an increase in signal-strength in the back portion/furthest distance of the house. I should probably have gone with the 1000 or 1200, based on my situation. These devices are not "inexpensive", so go a level higher than you think on 1st purchase.

Ok, not the range we needed
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It did not connect the way I wanted it to consistantly. We ended up using a booster from the phone company.

Ok extender
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this so I can get better signal on my second floor. My duplex is not that huge like my bedroom is literally above the extender and the extender is in an open area not even 20 20 feet away. It’s constantly disconnecting. They can do better on the app to trouble shoot this thing. I am constantly having to reset it so it can connect. When it works it’s great and when it disconnects it’s a pain in the butt to get it going.

Difficult to use
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This wireless extender was easy to set up, but annoying to use. It sets up a new set of WiFi networks in your house, and seems to take over as the primary network, even if the signal is weak. So every time you connect to your home network with a portable device, you have to look in your settings and make sure it didn’t connect to the extension network if you aren’t near the extender. I tried to overcome these issues for months and finally gave up. I would return it if I could.

Excellent
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s a miracle worker! I couldn’t get WiFi in my studio apartment, I bought this, installed it, (it was super easy, I’m not tech savvy whatsoever) and it worked, I was able to watch tv without any buffering. Great item

Exactly what I needed
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very good extender. Needed to extend my WiFi to the basement from my second router. Best part is that it has two channels 2.4 and 5ghz. so if you have a router that has both it will extend both signals. no dead spots now.
