My router is upstairs on the very back of the house and my ring doorbell is in the very front of the house behind a brick wall. I needed to extend my 5G signal to my ring doorbell and this did the trick. I got it on sale so I feel like I paid a good price for it. It never drops a signal and is always strong. I use this signal when I'm listening to podcasts or internet radio when I'm cutting my yard. I definitely would recommend.

I am very happy with this purchase. It was extremely easy to set up and connected with no problems. It extended the range of my WiFi to the upstairs area and even the back and front yard.

I bought 3 of these. Two are working and doing ok, the extend the signal as expected and were easy to setup. The third one I put it in a second floor and experienced lots of signal degradation and slow internet. I wanted something faster there but in general they are good .

Setup was quick and easy, placement for me was easy, overall it definitely expanded my wifi reception with a much stronger signal.

It was very easy to set up but I tried putting this in a few places around my 700 sq ft apartment but wasn't able to get a good connection in my bedroom which is located only 30 ft away from my Comcast router. Maybe it has a hard time transmitting signal through brick walls? This didn't work for me so I had to return it.

I have purchased other WiFi extenders and so far this is the BEST ONE YET that I have found. The range is FANTASTIC I can be on the 2nd rd floor or in the garage and it covers the entire house even the back yard. We currently live in a 4000+sqft house so that alone gives you an idea of how much and more that it covers. It is so WORTH BUYING when your looking for a GOOD WIFI EXTENDER! !!!

Setup was pretty easy if you follow the simple instructions. Extended the range from the front of our house all the way to the pool in the back of the backyard. No trouble at all. Was a cheep solution no need for they way more expensive options.

Excellent item for the price. Very affordable and gets the job done well. It’s small and fits easily into any decor. The installation guide is very well explained. The WPS installation didn’t work for me although I have a very high end Netgear router and it has a dedicated WPS button - it should have worked but the manual installation was just as easy just took a few extra steps. I placed this in an outlet in the basement near the door where we walk out to access the backyard and it amplified our WIFI so we can easily connect while we are out in the backyard now. I would definitely recommend this product. You don’t need to spend big bucks to get a great performing booster.

A bit of a challenge to get correctly programmed and set up. Once done, widget works wonderfully. Currently, used by my son in apt complex where everyone around us is also using WiFi.

Easy to setup good wifi extension it helps with signal distribution

If you're looking for a device that connects to your existing WiFi network, adds "_EXT" to the SSID, reuses the main SSID's password, and lets you configure nothing else, then this works perfectly. I'll give you a little more background. We have a few WiFi devices in the back yard that struggle to connect to the main access point. I wanted to buy this device so I could extend the reach of the main access point. However, I wanted a different SSID so no other devices would connect to it, and I wanted it to have a unique password so other devices couldn't accidentally connect to it. During setup, you tell this device which network to join. It then automatically configures itself to take the existing SSID, add _EXT, and reuse the password. Once you do that, you can no longer access the admin portal / config menu. During setup, it makes you think you can change both the SSID and the password, but then the device doesn't connect to the main access point and broadcasts a signal of nothing. You have to factory reset it to then get it working. I found this out the hard way about 5 times. What would make this device 5 stars is: 1 - Let you change the extended SSID 2 - Let you change the extended password 3 - Let you access the config menu after it's set up Simple. Again, if none of what bothers me matters to you, it will work great. Linksys clearly hardcoded some of this into the way the device works, which boggles my mind. If they have the device change the SSID anyway, why not let the user control that part, along with the password? They can keep the setup stupid simple for those who want to use it the way it shipped, but why they don't add just the minimal final step makes no sense.

This device works pretty well, setup was fairly easy. Range of signal is good.

This range extender works very well. We've tried others and they just didn't work throughout the house, so this was a great find! Easy to install.

It works and does extend your routers range. Go to YouTube and find a instructional Video on how to set it up, moderately tricky, but watch a how to Video and you'll be good to go.

It was a little difficult to get everything connected and working but once I did it was working great. No issues and it helped extend the range across my house.

I purchased this item to strengthen the Wi-Fi in my home and it worked well. The set up was very easy. Not sure about the customer service as I attempted to call on the weekend and did not get what I needed. So I will attempt to call through the weekday and hopefully I can get my questions answered

I have a Linksys router and thought that it would be an easy set up. Not so. Even having ‘this device within 2 to 3 feet of my Linksys WiFi router this device would not connect. Called the help line that transferred me to a computer tech in New Jersey that wanted access to my computer. After much debate I granted him access. He then ran a scan instead of instant fix. With the scan he, of course, found numerous viruses and said I had an internet problem and is why it wouldn’t connect. For $400 he could clean them up and connect the Linksys extender. What a hassle from what I thought was a Linksys tech since Linksys support transferred me to them. Finally got a hookup and it works great to connect WiFi to my garage located Rainbird sprinkling system control box.

Exactly what I needed to extend the range of our wireless router from Linksys. It was easy to set up and works as expected.

Had this for about 7 months and it’s doing the job well, can’t complain much and glad I didn’t buy the more expensive google nest or whatever it’s called
