It is the best wifi extender I have personally used, better than a router wired into another router, cheaper way to go. Its great. Though I can never get the blinking amber light to turn green.

Easy to set up. I set it up just inside the patio door so I could get Wi-Fi outside on the patio. It does extend the range of the Wi-Fi by about 15 feet before it starts dropping off. Be aware that you have to switch Wi-Fi sources to take advantage of the extended range.

I wanted to get rid of wires in my living room, so I decide on purchasing a Wi-Fi Range Extender. My living room has no Wi-Fi signal. This Wi-Fi Range Extender pulls in great reception.Setup is fast and easy. When working my internet speeds in my living room are the same as using wifi next to my router. The negative is sometime the internet speed in the living will drop to a slow crawl. Great for the price but would recommend you go with an AC1200 extender.

      Hi, Help101,

If your main Wi-Fi router is broadcasting a stable and fast internet connection, you should not experience any connectivity issue with your RE6300 Extender. We suggest taking advantage of the Spot Finder Technology feature to guide you where to properly position the extender for an optimal performance. Should you need a hand, email us your contact details and the link to this post at [email protected].

Good product. Wry easy to set up and extends your wifi great. One thing to keep in mind is that It does create a second network with “_ext” I’m the name. So it doesn’t just use your same wifi network but rather create an extended second network. Nonetheless, works great just make sure you connect to both.

I bought this device to extend the wifi range in my home. It does a pretty decent job. One downside is that the extender will completely drop coverage from time to time. I'm not sure if this is meant for just one device to be connected to the extender, but it works well otherwise. However, if you're looking to add more devices to this extender, I would look for a different product.

This is a great wireless booster. It connected easily to my existing network and the app used to manage it is easy to use. My only reason for giving it a 4 out of 5 is that if not used for some time (like a few days), it will drop it's connection to the network and need to be reconnected. Otherwise, great booster!

This product works great and keeps a great connection through your home wiring to extend your network possibilities from room to room. No need to go in the Attic to run wires unnecessarily.

Very easy to install & setup! We used it as an extender for our Apple Airport Extreme router & it works great to extend the weak signal to a room at the opposite end of the house from our main router.

Works great, easy to set up. Now my streaming works much better...no significant buffering. Works much better than a range extender that I tried. Each unit has to plug into 110 A/C. In order to get my TV to say the signal strength was excellent, I had to place a unit 4 feet away from the TV. My base unit is connected to my router by an ethernet cable. Then it is about 32 feet to the unit by the TV. From the base unit to the TV is a direct line of sight, not thru any walls. Then I have the third unit near a backyard window to connect to my soon to be installed standby generator. Checking the signal from the back yard generator location is good with a distance of about 50 feet. Should work fine for that need.

Serves it’s purpose for what my mom wanted it for. She had some spots around the house (in Maumelle) where AT&T’s service is awful and unusable and the wi-fi wasnt reaching those spots for wi-fi calls. It seems to have fixed that issue and thats all she wanted, so I’m not sure if it would boost the speed and/or connection for actual internet use.

This wifi extender performed as advertised and was easy to set-up. Unfortunately, it was not powerful enough to extend the distance that I needed (over 100 feet with obstacles).

Love the fact it still uses my existing Wi-Fi name and password to extend the range of my router. Setup was simple and worked just as advertised. I moved twice in order to increase signal strength to one of my devices and therefore resolved my original weak signal. Plug and play, no cables. Doesn’t get much easier than this!

Very simple to setup and straight forward instructions. I do like that it has an Ethernet port if you’d like a straight connection from this mini hub. My only complaint is that it doesn’t like a distance greater than 10’ from the central hub, it loses connection between pretty easy.

I bought it for my guest room since my parents had been living here for a while and my dad complained poor signal in that room which we already knew. We studied on bestbuy site and this one came out with medium price and reviews. We decided to give it a try but looks like it helps but doesn't improve too much in that past week? We'll see.

The set up was intuitive. I’m using it in a loft that has a lot of brick walls and as long as there’s a line of sight to the router, I’m able to extend the signal.
