This mesh system has been great so far, a huge step up from a singular router/modem or older mesh Wi-Fi system. This Wi-Fi mesh system comes with 3 nodes that cover up to 6.000 square feet! The internet in my house has improved a ton since installing this mesh network. We have a bunch of devices that are connected to our network, but the one thing that really shows how well this system works is our cell phones. When walking throughout the house, the cell phones seamlessly connect to the strongest router/node ensuring you have the strongest, fastest, most reliable internet possible, and it is amazing.
The Linksys Atlas 6 is a dual-band mesh router that has the latest Wi-Fi 6 technology and can cover up to 6.000 square feet. This mesh system is perfect for any smart home and can connect over 75 devices to your network. What I love about the Atlas 6 mesh network is it is a modular system, meaning you can add even more nodes to your network covering more area meaning if you were to buy 2 of these systems, you could easily cover up to 12,000 square feet and you can add as many nodes to the network as you’d like. The setup was very simple. Download the app and follow the directions, the whole setup took about 10 minutes. I love the app; you can manage your whole network right there. The app lets you see what is connected to your network, lets you rename devices that are on your network, block or remove devices, parental controls, speed checks, and many more network administrative tasks that you would want to keep control of your network. This mesh network system is very smart and boasts future-ready hardware with intelligent mesh technology that ensures the latest updates are applied to keep your network connection going strong.
What comes in the box is 3 tower nodes, power cables for each, 1 ethernet cable, and the paperwork to include safety/warranty information and the quick start guide. As said before, the setup is a breeze, you simply connect a node to your modem, and then follow directions in the app. Any one of the nodes can be the primary, they are all the same, it depends on which one you plug in first or which one the app picks up first. There are 3 Gigabit LAN (Local Area Network) ports and one Gigabit WAN (Wide Area Network Ports) on each node, and they operate at 160 MHz which delivers true Wi-Fi 6 technology with the fastest internet connection possible for your network.
Pros:
-Fast internet!!
-Easy setup
-Intuitive app that enables you to take control of your network
-Allows 75+ devices to be connected to your network
-6,000 square feet of coverage!
-3 network nodes in this system and it allows for more nodes to be connected for even more coverage!
-Backwards compatible network
-OFDMA for increased efficiency in high-density scenarios, delivering high-speed Wi-Fi to many devices all at the same time
-Helps reduce power consumption by helping devices negotiate when they send or receive data, helping battery life
-Complete system right out of the box
Cons:
-Great mesh system, but there are better ones that have more power than AX3000

Mesh Wireless Networks Are The Way To Go

I am currently using a Linksys mesh system that I have been wanting to upgrade to Wi-Fi 6 from Wi-Fi 5, so I decided to order these Atlas 6 mesh routers to add to my existing network. Since all Linksys mesh devices are compatible with each other, adding or making changes to an existing system is as easy as can be.
My existing network had only 2 nodes for about 2300 square feet. This gave me adequate range and performance, but I wanted to increase the range and signal strength. And boy did these 2 additional routers do that! I immediately noticed a substantial increase in strength and signal power. The improved signal strength is likely due to adding the additional units as well as the benefits of Wi-Fi 6.
The intelligent mesh system auto selects which devices to connect to which unit and what band. No more selecting and switching between 2.4 and 5 ghz. The mesh system does all that for you depending on the device and location.
The Linksys App is very functional and easy to use. The App walks you through the 15-30 munte setup process. If you are completing an initial setup from an older system remember that as long as you name your new network name (SSID) the exact same name as your old network, your previously connected devices will not notice the difference and connect without having to reenter your passwords. Which can be tedious with most households having dozens of connected devices..
A limitation of these routers is that they are dual-band. If you need the absolute best performance at range, then I recommend looking at Linksys tri-band mesh routers. They will of course be more expensive, but will extend the range with minimal loss of signal strength. Most people will be quite satisfied by the range and performance of these routers however.
Intelligent mesh networks are without a doubt one of the best technological innovations of this generation. The intelligent mesh system works seamlessly behind the scenes to generate and manage the wireless network. Because Linksys has made it so easy to add or remove nodes, this system can change as your needs change.

I have always trust Linksys for all my internet networks at home so I changed my regular Linksys router to this new Linksys mesh system and what a great speed change on my wifi. The set up of this mesh system was easy, just uninstalled your old router, unplugged your modem then plug one of the mesh unit to the modem & plugged in the modem and mesh node to the electric outlet, download the Linksys app and follow instructions on the app for setting up your new home network, then add the extra nodes to your home anywhere you have a wifi dead spot, but not too far from the main nodes. The only problem that I encountered was setting up all of my smart home devices in my house to the new network, it took me all day to do this since I have more than 30+ smart home products in my home, I had to reset all of my security cameras and other smart home devices but at the end it was worth it because my devices work much better and faster than before. The Linksys Atlas 6 mesh system has a great advance technology that automatically choose between the dual band 2.4./5GHz for better performance of the wifi, it covers up to 6000 square feet, 3 LAN ports, works with Alexa, it connects up to 75 devices to the wifi network, it has a switch on the bottom of each node to turn wifi on/off and you can also connect devices through the WPS. I installed one node in my master bedroom, one in my living room and another by the dining/ kitchen area and this mesh system works awesome !

Great WiFi, Simplistic App

Linksys' newest WiFi system brings the same great features and simplicity from previous WiFi systems into a modern WiFi system.
The Linksys Atlas 6 comes with 2 nodes (WiFi devices), 2 ac adapters, an ethernet cable, and documentation including the meaning of the activity colors displayed on the nodes. Each node is WiFi 6 capable and offers speeds up to 3Gbps, has MU-MIMO technology, and supports Dynamic Frequency Selection (DFS). In addition to this, each node has four ethernet ports, one for connecting to your modem (or linking two nodes via wired ethernet) and three 1Gbps ports that can be used for connecting computers or other devices directly via ethernet for internet connectivity.
Setting up the WiFi system was very easy and straightforward. First, you download the Linksys app from the app store. After downloading and opening the app, you are prompted to create a Linksys account. After creating an account, you are then asked to connect your Atlas 6 devices to a wall outlet. One will go near your internet modem or gateway (your internet provider's "internet box") to connect the supplied ethernet cord from the modem or gateway to the Atlas device and the 2nd Atlas device preferrably in another central location of your home. On the bottom of the Atlas 6 device are the default WiFi settings like the WiFi name and password. After locating this, you can connect your phone to the Linksys Atlas WiFi using this information. After you are connected, navigate back to the Linksys app and you are asked to change the WiFi name and password. This process personally took me 15 minutes and was up and running with faster WiFi speeds when all was said and done.
The Atlas 6 system allows for multiple configuration changes via the app. Features such as Parental Control, guest access, port settings, and setting device priority are some handy features this system offers. The Parental Controls feature allowed for me to set a schedule on when specific devices had access to the internet and also set restrictions on which sites those devices could access. Guest access allows for you to share your WiFi without the device that is connecting to it being able to access other computers or hardware connected to the network. This is a great security feature that helps protect your network while letting friends and family to connect to your WiFi. The device priority setting allows for you to set a priority rule on up to 3 devices. The devices on the priority list will have priority of having better bandwith (better internet speed) and the devices outside of the list will share the remainder of the bandwith. Another nice feature I noticed from within the app was the ability to send the WiFi information via text message, email, or copy it with a click of a button.
In addition to the above features, I noticed this system was a big upgrade from my internet provider's hardware. Not only did my internet speed increase, but the signal range also increased. Using both Atlas nodes, according to Linksys, should provide WiFi coverage for up to 4500 sq ft. Living in a one story, 2500+ square foot home, I noticed that the WiFi signal reached every corner of my home and compared to my service provider's router, the Linksys Atlas 6 system also provided faster speeds where previously the signal woukd drop and had slower speeds. I always recommend upgrading from the equipment your internet provider provides you to truly enjoy the internet speeds you pay for.
The one downside I did notice about this system is not being able to choose what the second nodes priority is, whether to extend the WiFi signal or to be used as a dedicated backhaul unit. Being able to use one of the nodes as a dedicated backhaul would help to reduce the load of different devices that are connected to the network and was a little disappointed not seeing this feature available. Nonetheless, I did not experience any reliability issues and speed along with range was much better than what I previously had.
Overall, I recommend the Linksys Atlas 6 for anyone looking for a reliable WiFi system that offers great speed and signal capabilities. After setting up and using this system, I don't think I can go back to the days of dropping the WiFi signal in parts of my home and Netflix lagging.

Wi-Fi 6 Mesh system - Dual Band Mesh

I had an older mesh system with two points and had a couple areas around the house that were typically spotty, even when moving one to another spot it didn't help. Started looking at upgrade options, which there are quite a few out there and ended up getting this Atlas 6 from Linksys. The three points would definitely improve my signal, while adding WiFi 6 and other newer standards that I didn't have before.
The Atlas 6 comes with three nodes, three power adapter, an ethernet cable and some documentation. I downloaded the linksys app and looked at the nodes to see if any of them were marked to say primary, didn't find anything stating to set up in any order so I grabbed the first one and set it up connecting to my ISP modem. The set up was pretty straight forward, following the prompts and looking for the indicator light to be a specific color to progress. The app does guide you through some troubleshooting steps, at first the one I was using as the primary didn't connect to the net, but I was guided to unplug my modem for a couple minutes, which then connected afterwards.
After going through the setup, and adding the name/location, I then plugging my second node in. The two points connect, they then communicate and transfer over the SSID configuration to the newly plugged in node. The node will run through a few additional steps such as picking the location (so you know which is which) and lets you know if the location you picked is good for communication between the nodes. Once that was setup I placed the third and followed the steps in this last spot.
Once done I went to the spots I noticed to have consistently poor signal and found that the new setup helped to cover these areas. I have been using the Atlas 6 for a few weeks now and am happy with the performance. I don't have any issues when gaming or streaming videos, these nodes also appear to keep in good connection, any time I've looked they appear to have the blue indicator light.
I wasn't too sure initially what the lights were, I like that under help on the app you can easily find information for the mesh system, which allowed me to understand what they meant to know what to look for. You can run speed test and easily see a list of devices connected to your WiFi. When selecting a connected device in the app, you can see information such as MAC, IP, device details and the name. The name can easily be modified to help you identify devices if they're not straight forward based on what is told to your router, you can change the picture if you choose to also. In the selected device you can easily set Parental Controls, set as a Priority Device (Can choose 3). You may also hit Reserve DHCP next to the IP address to statically assign the IP to the selected device. App is a little slow to launch, but once it's working you can jump through the menus pretty quickly, the overall design is fairly simple and doesn't feel too cluttered.
The coverage of the Linksys Atlas 6 has been very reliable, I have yet to receive any negative feedback from the family, no buffering, no slow down, or dead spots. The support for 75+ devices will be nice when I have some family coming over in the upcoming months, I am pretty confident with the performance we have had up to this point, that it will be able to handle the extra phones and any other portable device they bring!

Received the Linksys Atlas 6 3 node mesh system to replace my existing mesh system. The nodes are well designed visually and do not take up much space. What I was looking for were additional LAN ports which each node has 4 of which is great for me as I have backup cloud hard drives in two different locations in my home and I was able to connect them and have room for plenty of expansion if I ever needed it.
Setup via the Linksys app was straightforward and even someone who isn’t too tech savvy should be able to successfully set up this system. Setup did take about 20 minutes starting with the first node connected to the internet and setting up a Linksys account then setting up each additional node individually to link to the primary node and finally performing a firmware upgrade. While it did take some time it was easy.
My one gripe was when I setup my third node in my basement the app said it was good with good signal. After the firmware upgrade the third node could not be found and when it was the signal was in the fair range. This was my fault as I placed it behind my tv which I am pretty sure was causing interference. The app even stated not to place it behind a tv so this was user error but I do wish it would have told me the signal was weak from the get go.
Besides that, I see an improvement in my wifi speeds comparing before and after on the speedtest app. When running a speedtest on the Linksys app I see similar improvement to me download speeds but my upload speeds show a drop. Considering I used speedtest app for the before I will consider it an upgrade to both upload and download as shown as opposed to the test results in the Linksys app.
One note to save anyone headache who may be coming from another mesh system, be sure to setup your network name and password to the same as your old mesh system. This will save you a lot of time having to reconfigure all your devices.
I am currently running 10 wifi cameras, 2 tvs, 3 cell phones, 4 computers, 4 streaming sticks and boxes, 4 wifi speakers, Wifi light switches and I’m sure a number of other items I am not recalling at this time. All appear to run well and using the same wifi name and password as my old system saved me a ton of headache.
The app does need a little tweaking like being able to change the location you are testing to and I wish they had a vpn feature so I could bypass my router that I use for that but overall I still give this 5 stars.

The Linksys Atlas 6 is our third mesh WiFi 6 system from as many brands. As an entry-level mesh system, its network speed is AX3000 running on a 1GHz dual-core processor which supports ~600Mbps and ~2400Mbps on the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands respectively and has access to 160MHz channel widths. The 3-pack covers up to 6000 sq ft and up to 75 devices, though the system is expandable and can support up to 50 nodes.
This kit includes 3 identical routers with power adapters, and you can use any of the units as the primary node with the other two as client nodes. In our 3-story home, we placed one node on each floor for full wireless coverage of the house. Since the modem and primary router are located on the top floor, we usually experience significant signal strength and speed drops on the first floor, but this was not the case with the Atlas 6 mesh system.
The data transfer speeds our first floor are much improved with average download and upload speeds around ~500Mbps and ~25Mbps respectively, whereas with our previous mesh system it was about half of that. The node on the first floor uses the node on the second floor as an intermediate hop, rather than trying to jump two floors to wirelessly backhaul directly to the main router. All of our IoT/smart home gadgets, switches, and mobile devices stay reliably connected to our network, and we haven’t noticed any dips in internet speeds even when multiple devices are streaming at the same time. You can also enable the higher DFS frequency channels for the 5GHz band to avoid interference, but your client devices would have to be compatible, and this option may cause intermittent connectivity issues if you live near an airport since this range overlaps with radar systems.
To setup and administer the network, I downloaded and installed the free Linksys app to my smartphone. The app connects to the routers via Bluetooth, and you have to set up/add each node one at a time. It took me about 15 minutes to complete setup for the entire system. Folks who don’t have access to a mobile device can still setup and use this mesh system by manually connecting a WiFi device to the setup network printed on the bottom of each router. There, you’ll also find a reset button, WPS button, and on/off switch. The routers have only one small LED indicator on top that uses color and flashing patterns to show its current status; while the light cannot be dimmed or disabled, we didn’t find it to be a huge source of light pollution in the bedroom at night.
Since we have two WiFi networks, one for our data hungry devices like computers, video streamers, and mobile phones, and a sub-network for less demanding devices, the Atlas 6 is replacing our primary network. I like that all the routers have four Gigabit Ethernet ports (1 WAN and 3 LAN) as this enables us to connect multiple wired devices at each node, so for example, our sub-network’s parent node on the second floor can be hardwired, as well as the control unit for our smart water timer on the first floor, without having long runs of Ethernet cables through walls and between floors. However, if you prefer to or already have the wiring in place, you have the option for wired backhaul to the parent node.
The Linksys app is user-friendly and straightforward to navigate and use to modify the handful of available settings like enabling and password-protecting an optional guest network, changing the network name and password, and activating WPS for new devices. You can also prioritize up to 3 devices for limited connections (under 200 Mbps) so that your work computer, media streamer, and/or gaming console, will always have the best connection for more stability where you need it. There are some more advanced setup options too, like MAC address filtering, port forwarding, and DNS settings.
Security-wise, the router employs an SPI firewall and WPA2/WPA3 encryption, though this can be changed in the settings if you experience connection problems with older devices. A couple parental controls help you protect your kids if you need to block specific websites or URLs (you must enter them manually), and you can also pause internet access on-the-fly or on a recurring schedule. These settings must be entered separately for each device connected to the network, as there isn’t a way to create a single block list and apply it to multiple devices.
Overall, the Atlas 6 is an improvement over the mesh network we were using previously, providing stronger, more consistent, and reliably fast signal throughout our home. While there aren’t a lot of advanced configuration options, it should still meet most users’ needs. Setup was very easy and quick, and the network is expandable for larger homes and spaces.

The Atlas…the New WiFi Standard

Our homes have been Linksys fans for a while now. In fact we have had two other versions of this type of system for a few years now and love them. So when it came time to a new iteration in the form of the Atlas it was a no brainer.
The design is true to Linksys’ past where the small columns are not distracting in the spaces they live in and they are like little architectural figurines.
The system really maps and charts itself for you. Once you get setup done which takes about 10 minutes you will want to use the channel finder. I love using that feature to ensure that I’m maximizing and in a way calibrating the nodes to each other. Don’t assume once you’ve placed them that they are ready to go. You’ll want to take that extra step to be sure you are confident in your placement in your home.
The wonderful part is aside from the node connected to your modem the other two nodes sit nicely on shelves or in hidden corners discretely. You’ll see in my photos.
Having the Atlas in my had is really the backbone to not having whining visitors, kids, or compromising my video streaming and gaming. There are over 30 devices in my home competing for wifi at any given time so I need something that can handle that kind of surge and manage the output power it takes to make life easy.
Overall this is for the house who needs to be able to stream, play games like Fortnite, get business done, and allow all the other home gadgets to do their jobs without interruption. This is definitely for me.

There are so many mesh systems out there these days and it is hard to navigate through all of them.
Linksys is a homestead with switches and routers.
Setup was super easy. I download the app in play store via android and l followed the instructions and was setup in about 15 mins. I did have to setup an account with them.
The size is nice. Color is nice. It is nice that the 2 towers both had several LAN connections and could be intermingle.
Coverage was good. I have upstairs and a detached garage and the overall coverage was great.
Speed was decent. I have Gig service. The router directly connected to modem pegged out wirelessly at 500MB. Further away and using the point it dropped down significantly but is expected for distance and wall interference.
Multiple devices did not show any lag. Also using the app was easy to use and convenient. Out of the box it needed a firmware update. That took about 10 mins.
Overall this product did well and coverage was good and speeds were decent.
I would recommend this product.

The Linksys Atlas 6 is next generation dual-band, MU-MIMO Wi-Fi 6 router capable of delivering throughput of 600Mbps in 2.4GHz and 2400Mbps on the 5.0GHz band. In the box, it came with 3 identical nodes, power adapters, ethernet cables, and quick start guide. Each node has one gigabit WAN port and 3-port Gigabit Ethernet switches onboard on the back side and on/off, WPS and reset buttons on the bottom. It comes with a unique design ensures that any wireless device can receive a strong signal and software contains several features that make it especially best for gaming. Setup is quick and simple. It delivers amazing speeds and video streaming, and gaming are lightning fast with zero lag. All devices connected without any issues and ping was much faster than previous router setup (32ms to 6ms).
I have done a speed test and compare the results with my previous mesh router. I got 260 Mbps download and 30 Mbps upload with a ping of 33 ms. With ASUS AX6000, i got 305 Mbps and 30 Mbps with best ping of 5 ms. The wireless range is amazing, and it exceeded my expectation. I was able to get good connection and Wi-Fi speed throughout the house. The phone app is good with tons of features which can be configured using phone app instead of using default router page in a browser. Parent controls are good, and QOS is one of the best. Wireless-AX technology delivers faster performance and speed with AX Wi-Fi (up to 2400 Mbps on the 5.0GHz band) and this router is ideal for smart home devices and large homes.
It provides excellent coverage and high-speed data transfer rates with Beamforming+ technology which offers fast, efficient operation. With Wi-Fi 6, there are more than 100+ devices connected to the router without any issues or performance degradation. Wi-Fi 6 boosting speed, reliability, and range for both implicit and explicit 2.4GHz and 5.0GHz Wi-Fi devices for faster, stronger, and more reliable Wi-Fi connection.
I have configured all nodes with wired backhaul to get best performance and speed across the home. With the powerful processor provides smooth streaming and better video streaming, lag-free gaming, surfing. This router has 3 Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports which allows me to connect devices with wired option and no need of extra switches. There are lot of great features like SPI firewall, MAC or IP address filtering for advanced security ensures that your personal information stays private.
It also offers advanced parental controls, including the ability to block specific websites and mobile app types. I like the Parental control features in this router, and it lets you automatically block specific content on connected devices. There are lot of options to protect Wi-Fi with WPA2-PSK, WPA-PSK, WPA-Enterprise, and WPA2-Enterprise encryption to keep your information secure. Linksys always make the best routers in the market and Linksys Atlas 6 is no exception to this. It is an excellent Wi-Fi 6 Mesh router to achieve Wi-Fi excellent performance. It comes with 3-year manufacturing warranty.

Excellent Coverage & Speed, Reliable Network, Fast

I’m upgrading from a very reliable Linksys Velop mesh network that is about 5 years old. I was hesitant to upgrade because the old network never had any issues. Coverage was excellent and wireless internet speeds were fast and stable. However, many of my devices now support WiFi-6 (AX standard) and I wanted to take advantage of the improved speed available with this technology. Getting the Atlas 6 bundle has proven to be an upgrade in speed. Some of my devices are reaching wireless speeds not capable with the old AC network (see example speed test pics).
Another comparison between my old router and the Atlas 6 is the number of bands it supports. Essentially, the number of radio signals being used to communicate wirelessly with each other. While my old router had 3 bands {tri-band), the Atlas 6 only has 2 (dual-bands). I was concerned that losing a band would result in less stability. But I have not noticed any issues there. The dual bands on this new router seem to handle the backhaul just fine, on top of the 50 plus devices I have connected to the network. To simulate heavy usage in my house, I started streaming multiple 4K movies, YouTube videos, wireless network gaming, and many sizable downloads across all my devices. Not once did the network bog down; movies continued to play without any buffering, and my games did not experience any lag.
I do want to mention the one snag I experienced while setting up the system for the first time. It was easy setting up the network and the 3 individual nodes. However, once everything was up, I initiated a firmware update within the app. In total, the process should have taken 10 to 15 minutes according to the app. One of the final steps is each node will reboot itself. The final step did not occur automatically in my case. After about a half hour, I ended up power cycling each node myself (unplugging the power cable, then plugging it back in). After everything rebooted, each node had successfully installed the update and was working fine. This was a small snag, but if you experience the same issue, it may be best to call Linksys’s tech support.
Overall, I am reaping the benefits of the new AX wireless standard while maintaining the same reliability as my old mesh network (even with 1 less band). It’s impressive.

I upgraded to this WiFi system less than a week ago. With that being said I may come back and edit this review. I just want to start out and say I already see a huge difference in the connectivity around my house. My phone, tv, game systems, etc. are not lagging and buffering the way they were with our old router set up. Being able to add more “child” systems on when needed is another great feature of using a mesh system. I have no connection issues anymore and I feel as though my speeds are increased as well. If you are someone who is noticing and issue with connectivity in your home and you haven’t switched to a mesh system I would recommend this one. Now onto ease of set up. All I had to do was download an app and tell the app I had plugged the towers in. It ran its updates and then gave me the ok to move them around my home. Couldn’t have been any easier. This is truly a great system.

Great addition to my Linksys WiFi 6 network

I upgraded to a Linksys WiFi 6 router ealier this year and due to the size of our house and the amount of devices we added nodes as well but they weren't the WiFi 6 ones like these. When I saw that they now had these available in WiFi 6 I wanted to get a few to allow for the fastest possible connections in various parts of my downstairs. We are running a Linksys MR7500 router and adding these two nodes was a fairly simple process.
Out of the box and powered on to be ready to add was about 5 minutes. One thing I learned with this router and also with my few other nodes that I had added previously is they have to be very close to the router when adding them via WiFi. I just basically laid them on top of the router and then went to the Linksys app to add the nodes to my Network. After the app woke up the nodes and put into it's pairing mode it takes about 10 to 12 minutes to full add and synch it with your network then you have to move it to where you want it.
Once moved it will run a test to confirm it has a good signal and is located in a good place. Did this for both nodes and after about 30 minutes they were both added and in the locations around my downstairs to give me the best coverage. I placed one on a shelf in my kitchen and one on a shelf in my front living room where my kids have their gaming laptops setup and also do their school work. I ran some speed tests and got between 240 Mbps and 260 Mpbs in my kitches when previously I was geting 80 Mbps to 90 Mbps. Outside on my back deck was really where I needed the speed for the TV I watch via Roku and my 4K Fire Stick. When running those test is was getting 130 Mbps to 150 Mbps when before I was only getting 30 Mbps to 40 Mpbs.
Overall very happy with these and the whole Linksys Mesh infrastructure and glad they got their WiFi 6 nodes out. These can also apparently function as a router as well but I didn't use them or have a need to make one a router but the process shoudl be fairly simple using their phone app.

WOW it is fast!
Switching from an earlier Eero WiFi5, to this was a night and day difference. Keep in mind, I purchased the 3-pack so that I could put a router in each room, since I live in a two bedroom condo that is 840 ft.². I know that this router is overkill for the size of our condo, but I wanted to be sure that we had full coverage no matter what.
I will say, I did have an issue setting up this router. Come to find out, after contacting Linksys phone support, the firmware that comes with the routers is version 1.1.4. The latest firm, 1.1.7, was just released June 2022. The problem is, in the app and through the web admin dashboard, it shows that the routers are updated to the latest version. Because of this, you have to manually update each router to 1.1.7. I found this out after contacting support, and after about an 45-minutes on the phone with them, I was able to finally get all three routers properly set up and ready for use.
Now, I work in the tech field, so I understand that technology can sometimes be finicky, and not always easy. Thankfully with the purchase of the 3-pack, it comes with three years complementary technical support that you can call 24/7. That is huge, since some products only comes with either one year or you have to purchase a certain plan to have that kind of service.
Now, although the set up was not as easy of a walk-through as it normally should be, I was at least able to get it up and running through the help of support. If it wasn’t for that one caveat of an issue when it came to the firmware update, everything would have been just fine.
One tip, when initially setting up your main router and the nodes. Be sure to power on all three of your routers, and place all of them right next to each other. Once they are all properly set up, then place them into their perspective rooms/places. You may need to manually update them, but that is where support can assist over the phone at no additional fee.
In the end, this thing is worth it!

My home is 3k square foot ranch style home and is as you can imagine very spread out but this system works great. I tested the speeds in every corner of my home and the only spot that had just slightly slower speeds was the garage (I assume because the cinder block wall between the unit and where I was standing) but even that only dropped the speeds by 15 upload and 2 download.
Very happy with it so far, the app is easy to use and works well. I can’t think of a single negative yet. I have Starlink because it’s the only thing available here and the unit that came with the Starlink didn’t work at all so I almost returned it. But a friend of mine recommended the Linksys system because he said “man internet is what they do, if anything will work it’ll be them” and he was completely right.
Buy this and I be lt you’ll be happy too.
Oh and this is a real true mesh network system. Not satellites of the main unit. Each unit is hard wired so you get the consistency speeds throughout the home/office. In my case it’s both since I run my company from my house.
I coupled this with the linksys ethernet switch so I could hardwire my printers, TVs, etc.
10/10, 5 stars, definitely recommend it.

First off the Linksys app for the Atlas is easy for anyone to setup these wifi nodes, regardless of how new or experienced you are with home networking. It has every simple to advanced option for keeping your network monitored and you can remotely control your router settings away from home too.
Next the mesh system eliminates blindspots in your wifi effortlessly. I have about 12-20 devices on my network at a time and I don’t experience latency on any of them. You can monitor your node placement and signal strength on the app to find the ideal spots to put them across the house.
Definitely worth the purchase. My home is about 1500sq ft if you need a reference on signal coverage.

honestly no complaints. the connectivity, speed, and reach is great. tech isnt my niche, so i wouldnt know exactly what to look for in a great router, but its good for what i use it for: gaming and school. the main router connects directly to my playstation 5 and tv and the satellite router is in the living room for extra distance coverage. never had an issue with speed or connectivity. the app also has a simple interface. once again no complaints. it does its job and does it well especially in relation to its price

Upgraded to this after suffering from slow network and disconnections with my old system. Setup was straightforward using the instructions in the Linksys app. The new network was ready to go in less than 15 mins. So far the speed and range has been great, devices have had no connection issues. A great tip is to name the new Mesh network the same name (and password) as your old network so that you do not need to reconnect all the devices again.
