Amazing. Simply amazing. Having owned the Linksys Velop Mesh MX5300 we were experiencing great speeds in tandem with our ISP plan. I switched our modem and gained a bit of speed. When I read the reviews of how the Atlas Max did not improve speeds I have to admit I was a bit hesitant but still was willing to give it a try and also hoping it was worth the hefty price. Our speeds went from 940 Mbps to 1410 Mbps with just the one node used as the main router. Our AppleTV 4K streamers were loading Netflix, Prime and movies purchased via  like it was nothing. The YouTube speed is also amazing. I can skip forward and/or backward without much latency and the spinning gear/wheel is nearly gone. One disclaimer that I would like to point out is because we are experience a huge difference in our speeds it does not mean it is a guarantee for those who make the purchase will have the same experience. I am just writing based on our experience. There are many factors that can increase/decrease speed. I am happy with the purchase.

This is more of a 4.5 than a 4 star review. So far so good! Speed and accessibility is really good! I have a small house and the system is very reliable. My only complaint was it wasn’t as easy to setup as it should’ve been. Especially since I had an older velop system. But the customer service at Lynksis was really good and got me up and running.

The best mesh Wi-Fi system for large coverage area (6000 - 8500 sqft). You really can’t go wrong with this product as it provides nearly 100% of your bandwidth via Wi-Fi. I have tried many mesh systems that have failed to meet the everyday need for streaming, working, up/download files, etc.

Power mesh routers. I've been buying many different Linksys routers for many years. I've decided to go for this expensive model, and I'm pretty pleased of my purchase. Very easy to setup and the signal is strong.

Pretty solid system. We have 12-15 items actively on WIFI at once (10 connected but not active) and this system handles it without loosing strength. The management software is really good. WIFI range is crazy good. Its pricey, but I would recommend it anyone with multiple devices running on WIFI as well as streaming.

Set up is easy and straight forward. Coverage is excellent in my 3500 sq ft home, from the top floor down to the basement. The app needs some refinement, especially the parental control. If you are looking for wall to wall coverage and the ability to support Wifi-6E devices down the road you should consider this system.

I recommend this product highly. The setup, when following the instructions in the user-friendly mobile app, was very easy. The 3-pack mesh system provides a strong signal throughout our bi-level townhome of just under 1600 sq ft, allowing us to connect all our devices - computers, iPads, phones, TVs, smart home appliances, etc. - with ease and to use them simultaneously. Yes, the Linksys system is pricier than other mesh systems but - coupled with our Netgear DOCSIS 3.1 cable modem - should provide years of future-proof usage. Besides, I was fortunate enough to purchase the product from Best Buy during their Thanksgiving sale. Prices, of course, may drop during the coming year.

    Better than Orbi...

Long story short, we own a ranch style home with duct work in the ceiling, power lines roughly 20ft away, and less than a mile from an international airport... So potential interference galore. We have Verizon FiOS gigabit internet, and used to have an orbi set up with one satellite. It worked pretty well speed wise, but if have to reset it at least once a week, of not more often... And the wifi signal was weak in my garage (about 45 ft from the main orbi hub/router). After roughly 18 months, the Orbi system died. My brother and law who was a cyber security expert with the Army couldn't resurrect the system. So anyway, I found this Linksys mesh network on sale for $799 a few months later and decided to give it a shot. At first I was a little disappointed as I was dropping the signal from my garage (man cave) the first 48 hours of ownership. I was also dropping the signal as it seemed that the mesh network was dropping my cell phone during the handoff from one node to the next. I was seriously considering bringing it back to Best Buy. However after the first two days, it suddenly seemed to start working flawlessly. I have not lost connection to my wifi in the following 3 weeks or so since I've had the system and my signal is very strong in my garage. No more buffering it at this time. All in all, I'm an elite plus member, having spent way too much money at Best Buy (according to my wife, not me), and I've been very happy and very pleasantly surprised by this neat network. It's not cheap, but so far, it's been so worth it.

    Good hardware with subpar firmware.

Bestbuy is amazing for delivering this item to me straight from there nearest store however Linksys is not doing a great job. This device seemed to be pushed to the market with a half baked firmware and does not worth the MSRP at the point I bought them which is $1100. The hardware solely worth ~$700, guaranteed, but not with the firmware pre-loaded on them. If you find a deal and believe you'll be patient enough to wait for Linksys to fix the problems, then purchase without second thought. There are few problems I noticed during my using of this product, ranked from most important to least important: 1. The connection between nodes are not stable enough when there are a lot of interference, I live in an apartment where my neighbors has new ISP handing out free WIFI 6 routers, Verizon, Altice Optimum are all doing so. 2. To make the things worth, the only LED indicator sometimes can show WRONG status on the node, for example it will remain RED when it already is connected to the mesh. 3. The LAN bandwidth control does not seemed to exist, I have my PC connected to one of the satellite node and if I push a large file to my network storage device connected to another satellite node, my network storage device will become inaccessible from any other LAN devices(The transferring speed is amazing, though, sometimes it can hit 80MB/s, as fast as my harddrive can write). 4. There are NO web based admin portal, you have to use Linsys app, and it will ask you to register an account. The app is not helpful at all as it show some fancy animations to trick you into believing it is busying working behind the scene when it is not, most of the time the app is simply waiting for the device to reconfigure and reboot itself, making you stare at the same screen for ~15mins. 5. There are no compatibility troubleshooter to help you with older devices that having trouble staying connected with WIFI 6. 6. It should be written at the top of the description in red that WIFI 6/6E are only compatible with certain devices, most recent Android devices/iPhones will be fine for older devices you're out of luck. I'm able to get 1.1Gbps on my Galaxy S10 with Android 12 when connected to 5G.

I couldn't get wifi in my living room. My router is in the back of the house in the master bedroom. I set this system up with all 3 units: 1 to the router and 1 in the living room and 1 in the kitchen. It was too strong of a signal in the kitchen so i removed that unit. Using only 2 units, this system not only increased my wifi distance but also increased my wifi speed by 600%! With 9 wifi devices going at the same time and 2 wired connection, there is NO SLOWDOWN on any of them. Amazing.

These were very easy to set up, you can use their app, or the default IP address. 6E performance was excellent, however I have about 30 IOT devices, a server, 4 computers, and about 25 wifi devices (laptops, tablets, phones, TVs) on the network, and it would drop connection with all of them about 4 times a day. I really liked the performance, but reconnecting my devices gets old quick. I will be returning them.

After two calls to Linksys tech support, I finally got the system up and running. I had multiple devices that had to be reinstalled, and a great Epson workforce printer that I never could get installed on the network. Apparently, it’s “too old”. It’s now plugged directly into my computer, which is not optimal. The new router works quite well, and with my new fiber optic internet service, web pages load very quickly. It’s a good system, but it certainly wasn’t easy to set up, so I subtracted a star for that and the loss of my network printer.
