Admin page is very minimal. Nodes have some signal issues at times. I regret not buying a switch and manually hardwiring my house.

It seems that most mesh network WiFi networks require an Android or iPhone to set up the system. The setup software for this system was not fall-off-the-log simple and advanced setup for a static IP address for a NAS was way more difficult than it should be.

      Hi, BreP,

We appreciate your time in sharing feedback towards our Linksys MX5503. For isolation, let’s make sure that the nodes are setup properly and running on the latest firmware version. Rebooting your Internet connection starting from the main modem along with the Mesh network, also helps stabilize the connection. Email your contact details and the link to this post at LinksysCares@linksys.com. Our Escalation Engineers will assist you from there.

My selected ISP recommended this product. The product was not available in-store so it was ordered by Best Buy to be delivered to their Idaho Falls store, where I would pick it up. I picked up the product from the store and delivered it to my ISP whom would "program" the product to be compatible with my newly purchased Ammon Fiber Optic service. The ISP recently notified me that 1 of the 3 units could not be connected to the other pieces, there was an insect found in one of the pieces, and it appeared that another piece had been previously used. I returned the product to Best Buy and they will provide me with, hopefully, an acceptable product of the same type.

This router is really bad compared to Orbi. I haven't had a linksys since the WRTG days in 2004, but I figured I'd give a try after all these years. This one is really bad, just go on the linksys reddit to find out yourself. It drops constantly, and as it turns out, you have to go into manually turn off some homekit setting. All this tweaking and adjusting just for it work without issue? Not worth it for this ludicrous pricing. Stick to Orbi (even thought they aren't perfect), or better yet Ubiquiti.
