I hot a bad one or maybe thats just how it is IDK

Bestbuy lacks in Tech Specifications
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.In the era of Gbe, Bestbuy has no switches that can pass more than 1Gbps and also the information about the routers that do have Gbe ports is lacking. For this router for example I would've wanted this to be clear: Number of Ethernet Ports Four Gigabit LAN + One 5Gbps WAN I'd like to have a filter for routers/modems/switches that shows only Gbe capable devices.

Garbage

Ive had to switch back to my old $99 router because this one i bought for $240 started to drop connection continuously.. it always had issues keeping a good speed even before this

It is convenient that the router is running on the latest firmware version for optimal functionality. Try to change the wifi channel to test and consider placing the node to an elevated area, avoiding possible physical obstruction such as thick walls and floors that may block its range.

Do not buy this Router. Very disappointed.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Claimed as top of the line router of Linksys, but this router performs poorly for both signal strength and speed. Set up is easy, but the coverage is just right around the router. For any distance, the strength of 5GHZ dropped dramatically, worse than my 5 yr old router. In addition, my Hydro Pro 6E could be defective out of the box as the Speed Test on the Linksys Smart Wifi is always 148 mpbs. Spent a lot of time with Tech support also. Hydro Pro 6E was returned!

Terrible product and service
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Did not work from the time I bought it. Too late to return to Best Buy and Linksys service is beyond horrible. I spent hours trying to get it to function and ended up buying a different router.
