I bought this unit to be able to stream TV to my bedroom Roku. At first, it worked well after getting assistance from the manufacturer on set up and updates. However, lately, it keeps dropping signal and the signal strength seems to have deteriorated. I plan to contact Linksys to see if there is anything they can do. It may be where I am located. At this time, I don't think I can recommend this for everyone.

      Hi, nlbrown,

If you encounter dropping connections behind the Linksys MR6350 then please try tweaking the channel finder feature and make sure to run the firmware on its latest version. Thus, you may also try force closing the Linksys App and update us on how it goes so we can have it checked with our Escalation Engineers by sharing it over email at LinksysCares@linksys.com with your contact info and the link of this review, for our reference.

Not worth it..don't even look at it. I hooked it up and it was running fine for about 2 minutes..all the sudden my speeds decreased within 30 seconds. It is not a mesh router..it's a regular router. It also says it can hold up to 12 devices..well it couldn't even hold up 5 devices. The app is horrible as well because it makes you set it up in an app - it's extremely confusing. 10/10 do not recommend. Save your money.

      Hi,

The Dual-Band Mesh Wi-Fi 5 Router - MR6350 should perform better than this. Let's make sure that the firmware of the router is updated. Hi,

This is not the router's expected behavior especially when setup successfully and running on the most recent firmware. Aside from that, make sure that the device prioritization is disabled. Furthermore, we would like to have our Second Level Team check this thoroughly. Email us the link to your review at LinksysCares@linksys.com along with your contact details and other relevant information.

I guess it true you get what you pay for. Very disappointed in this router. Could not get it connected to my router and ended having to call tech support to get it going. After several hours of fighting with it finally connected. Once connected it worked great for about 5 minutes and then started dropping signal and slow connecting. Restated several times and still crappy connection theory house and even next to it. Waste of time and money. Will definitely be taking back.

I returned the item because I could get a much better price @ Sam,s club. However, I was told I could not return a new , unopened item after 15 days which I was not aware of. Most business returns are 30 days, & I was extremely unsatisfied as a result. I was forced to take a store credit instead. I will use my store credit & no longer shop at best buy.

Works great at first, then starts failing randomly on the 5GHz channel. It'll randomly bump you off the network and your OS will mistakenly think the SSID password changed. You reconnect and things work fine for 5 minutes to a couple hours before the process repeats. Get a warranty w/ Best Buy so you can keep returning it every other month for free.

      Hi,

Using the Linksys app should make it simple to set up the Linksys MR6350 Mesh WiFi 5 Router. The Linksys app also lets you access your network from anywhere, and view or prioritize which connected devices are using the most WiFi. For further assistance, please share more details at [email protected] with the link to this review for our reference.

I have a lot of other Linksys products and was assuming this would be a simple plug and play router. Not so! After an hour of it failing to reach out to the cloud to connect my account (which shouldn't be needed for me to use the router anyway) I finally gave up and returned it. I purchased a Nest which took 5 mins to set up instead.

Garbage, it continously dropped on of the channels. The TV and laptop would lose internet connection while the video game systems would be working. The TV was five feet from the router. There is no way to tell the TV or computer to connect to the stronger channel.
