doesn't last
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This piece of junk didn't even last one year. Less than 12 months later and it runs my internet at half speed. It worked fine when it was new.

Posted .Hi, Arch,
We might just need to optimize the router to keep it up. If it’s already running on the latest firmware, you may try checking if it’s utilizing the best channels for your network. If that won’t help, let’s have our Escalation Engineers look into this further instead. Just email us at LinksysCares@linksys.com with your contact information and a link to this review as our reference.

Posted .Hi, Ne10,
The Linksys MR6350 Mesh WiFi 5 Router delivers WiFi Speed up to 400 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz and 867 Mbps on the 5 GHz band. The router will automatically upgrade the firmware whenever a new version is available. For isolation, you can try to bypass the Linksys router and connect a computer directly to your modem to see if the same issue occurs.

Works well
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this to be an extender of the existing network in a somewhat poor-coverage spot. Getting it to do that instead of being a router was a bit convoluted, but successful.

Two weeks is such a short time for the router to stop working. Have you tried plugging it into a different power outlet for isolation? Won't allow WyzeCam to access internet
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I only needed this router to do one thing: Connect to WyzeCam cameras, which require the 2.4 channel. While this router will communicate on that channel, it does so when it decides to. It defaults to 5 and then goes to 2.4 when it wants. So the WyzeCam cameras can't see this router. And there is no manual control to make this router use only 2.4. For my purposes, I had to return it.

Posted .Hi,
There is actually an option to split the two bands as needed, however it will disable the functionality of the mesh system. Feel free to tap us at LinksysCares@linkys.com should you decide to use another Linksys product and will encounter any challenge. Our Escalation Engineers are on standby and ready to help.

40-hour read of user agreements?
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Am I the only one who reads user agreements? In order to set up this product, you have to install their software on your phone, and agree to their license agreement, terms of use, privacy policy (which before reading, you must agree to their cookie policy, subject to their privacy policy... see the catch-22 here?), and I don't know what else. There's some 20 documents for all this, most of which are like 10 pages long each. I spent some 5 hours reading through this stuff before I gave up. I don't have 40 hours of time to sit around reading legally binding agreements before installing hardware. Why does all this have to be so complicated?
