Good working wifi
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had this for over a month so that I can divide the bandwidth between the 2 routers to speed things up when everyone is home, and so far everyone has stopped complaining about the internet speed. Its good for small spaces.

LInksys Max-Stream AC1300 review
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not a bad router at all. I've had it setup for about six weeks. It does what it's suppose to do, without fault. I would consider this a mid-tier router and it works perfectly in this scenario, as I didn't need a "killer" router for where this is. I normally buy Asus routers, but I needed this in a pinch, and honestly would have no problem using this product again. I would have given it five stars, but I found it annoying that this device is meant to be configured and managed via an app. You can do so via a web browser, but it took some digging online to find out how to do it, and even then it was a bit of a fight. Once I got it configured and was use to the crazy way to access the web interface, it wasn't so bad. Unfortunately I don't remember off-hand how this works, or I would leave the steps here. So, be prepared to do a bit of research online if you want to configure/manage this device via a browser.

Replacement Router for audio mixer

great router
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had my new Linksys router for several weeks and it has exceeded my expectations. I bought this to replace my Asus router that was 6.5 years old and starting to fail. Setup was easy. I love the Linksys app - provides an easy user interface. The router supports smb to stream from my network hard drive I would have given a 5 star rating if it supported DLNA. Hoping a future firmware upgrade will take care of it.

Decent wireless router
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Decent unit, provides great signal strength. Only 1 or 2 devices at a time working, so cannot talk to heavy loads. I have not setup a Linksys in awhile (deal with enterprise networks at work), but I think they made the setup too complex in the attempt to make it simple. Needing a phone app to get setup? PITA. Give me a simple local option please out of the box. This was put into a shared internet environment where there was more than one router with no DHCP for internet due to a third device inline to the cable modem and was annoying to get working.

Great for small home
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This did the trick with constant dropping signals from my previous netgear router. Faster, wider coverage, and much more reliable. Easy to set up too.

Good wifi

Pretty good
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Set up was fairly easy using the app and it wasn't a problem to pair devices to it. I'm only giving it four stars because after reading the reviews I thought the signal would be blasting through a 1,700 sf house. It may be because the router is at one end of the house and there is a thick wall in the middle but streaming at the other end of the house is slow. On this side of the wall, it's worth it but I really thought the speed would be better throughout the house.

Economical entry into mesh network
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Used the Linksys MR6350 mesh router with Linksys Velop dual band nodes two pack to create 3 node mesh network. I wanted the extra LAN ports of the MR6350 for wired connections to a docking station and two network drives. The MR6350 serves as parent router connected to my modem in the lower level of my raised ranch and the Velop units are on second level near outer walls. This set up provided improved signal coverage in the second level rooms and outside to patio and front yard. It took some patience, research on the internet, use of the Linksys app and a signal strength app to optimize the placement of the nodes. Instructions could be more clear about the various stages and status light activity the units go through during set up and when powering up, as it can appear they aren't connecting when you just need to give more time for the cycle to complete. Also it would be useful if the instructions provided more details on how to best place the nodes vs. connectivity and signal strength. However, now that I have figured it out, I am optimistic the new system will give me the coverage I am looking to achieve.

Solid inexpensive router
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall works great. Easy set up. I daisy chain these with Ethernet to create a poor man’s mesh network through the house. No set Up required to do this just plug them in which is really nice. The mobile app is good enough for me. My only complaint is that the parental controls are challenging. I would say if that is a critical criteria for your purchase you might look elsewhere or expect to have a different application for it.
