Linksys has put some time into trying to make this easy, but for my workflow, it actually makes it harder as I have to deploy and re-deploy APs regularly. I also have a worry that as my phone/tablets change, and/or their OS's change, eventually the app will no longer be supported, and you'll have to replace the wireless AP due to app set-up obsolescence. Finally, while inexpensive, Wi-Fi5 with just two antennas is relatively low performance in our fast-improving Wi-Fi6 world. Yes, there is still a market for these and a review like this has to be tempered to this expectation, but after testing this out, I went to an 802.11ax Wi-Fi6 AP, certainly for more cost, but also with much greater performance. If Wi-Fi5 is what you want, and you like using apps, this may work for you. Personally, I returned it the same day of purchase.
