Top-Rank Router
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent router from a top-rate company, Linksys, and true bargain basement price! Better quality than the Netgear Nighthawk which we also have. Big upgrade from our old Linksys router which was also excellent!!

Nice Router!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Router has been awesome! Handles all my devices and has no problem handling my 1Gbps Internet Connection! Definitely worth the money! Plus I like the option I can add a Mesh Network to it later if I ever need.

Meh....
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm still not sure on this router. I ended up having to buy a switch from Amazon since this only had 4 ethernet ports (I have 7 wired devices in my home). I still have slow speeds to some devices. I pay for Spectrum's 400Mbps speed and sometimes don't even get 50Mbps on certain phones and such. Been working through settings, so maybe I'll update my review once it works out better

Very Good Router!
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The router works great. However, I have had problems with my older wireless printer because of how new this router is. Make sure all of your devices will be able to communicate first.

Okay router. But better out there.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall a decent router. It has done a few strange things like turn off the wireless signal without any specific reason. The phone app is a bit too simplistic and did not indicate any issues. A hard reset of the router straightened it out. But still for the amount of money spent, we should not have to do this.

Range Monster!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had the MR9600 for a while now and oh boy, I must say I love it! My previous router (ASUS RT-AC68U) was no slouch. It did almost everything I needed it to do and stayed out of my way which is what I really want from my router. The only drawback was that the signal strength wasn't really uniform throughout my medium sized home. Wireless on the main level (same as the router) worked perfectly, but I noticed that my cellphone, ipad, and iot devices didn't fare quite as well on the second floor or in the basement. Wifi in the back yard was basically impossible as well. This all changed with the MR9600. From the moment I set it up, which by the way is very slick and smooth, I began testing the limits of the range. Not only am I getting uniform reception ANYWHERE in my home, I also get great reception in the yard. I am amazed at the difference. I can get as far down my block as the first intersection before I notice the signal start to degrade. Regarding the aforementioned setup, you can do this multiple ways. Linksys prefers that you use the mobile app and it is very easy to do it that way. I'm somewhat old school, however, and like to manage my network hardware from a good old web browser. The good news is that this is available as well, though I'm not sure I like the way accessing it is a little hidden. When you navigate your browser to the IP address of your router, you'll see an image of some mobile phones and instructions to download the mobile app. In order to get to the web interface you have to click on the image of the phones. It isn't mentioned anywhere on the page that this is what you should do. I had to fire up DuckDuckGo and search to get that information. An annoyance, but a minor one for sure. All of the features you'd expect a router in this class to have are available. Port Forwarding, DDNS client, Static Routing, WPA3, WPS, MAC Filtering, etc... It's all there. The one thing I will miss though from my ASUS is the ability to have the router obtain a free SSL certificate from LetsEncrypt and refresh it every 90 days all on its own. That is handy, but I can also just offload that task to one of my desktops for the time being. It's also possible that Linksys could add that feature via a firmware update in the future and you can bet I will be requesting it. For those of you that aren't aware, part of the Wifi6 standard is something called Target Wake Time (TWT). In short, TWT is an intelligent feature that will communicate with your devices and tell them when to have their wifi radios sleep and wake up to send and receive data. The idea here is if wifi radios are allowed to spend more time asleep, your battery life will be increased. It may be a fluke but so far I feel that since I've been using the MR9600, my cellphone battery percentage at the end of the day is a bit higher than it had been previously under the same amount of usage with my other router. I'm going to monitor this over time and switch back and forth between routers to research further. If you're looking to upgrade your router, especially if you want something wifi6 compatible, this is a solid contender.

Overkill for what I needed
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I only give this three stars because I didn't not even take it out of the box. This model was overkill for what I needed and returned it. But...begining to wish I had not. The model I got keeps giving me issues with dropped signal and very short range. Should of just stuck with the brand I have used for more than 20!years.

Not the coverage you expect
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought it earlier this week and it’s working ok but it doesn’t get anywhere close to the 3,000 feet it says. Now trying to decide if I spend more money and buy an extender or take it back and get a more expensive one. It doesn’t cover two floors well at all, even right above it.
