The unit did not provide the speed I expected. My home is a Manufactured home on one floor 1100sq ft. My router is located in the back bedroom I use as an office. There are two walls separating the back to the living room. I do not blame the product just my older units. I am not disappointed in buying this device as I love to tinker all the time and always wind up having a use for everything. I would recommend to a friend, however wait for the A/C routers to come out.

I believe it is the next model up from this one.

Thank you for sharing your experience with the Linksys wireless adapter. Allow us to look into your challenges you have with the wireless adapter. It's possible that the intermittent connection is due to wireless interference in your network. Try swapping the adapters and observe if you still get the same behavior with the AE2500 on a different computer. You also need to make sure that the adapter's drivers are up to date.
