Bought this for a friend who bought a refurbished stand alone computer with no NIC card. Hooked it up to his computer and connected to his WiFi network, running over 70Meg per second, but think that is mostly limited by his WiFi provider. He is supposed to get 100, but think it was network congestion, not the adapter. Works great for what he is using it for, general web surfing, email, you tube videos, downloads, etc.

Simple and easy setup. No problems after 1 year of daily use. Any problems have very easy solutions.

I had a client call me saying that this beautiful new computer I sold them wasn't fast enough it was a fastest machine that I've ever built really an incredible system but we used an old Wi-Fi card that he had laying around it just didn't work he wasn't happy one of his money back from the computer I ran by there real quick and picked up this doctor plug it in and we had full speed like he had almost plug it was a great deal thank you very much Best Buy

Use it in a laptop that already had WiFi connectivity, but this is SO much faster than the built in wifi. The range is superior as well.

Works great, even 40' from my router. In most cases just plug in and it will automatically install drivers. Very good download speeds.

The Linksys Wireless Network adapter works great most of the time. I am able to smoothly stream Netflix and Amazon movies from my old computer to my smart tv. However, about once a day the connection is lost and I have to reboot the connection.

It just works! As Bill Gates once said "Easy to use is easy to say". In this case it's true. Plugged it into a Win10 machine, it was immediately recognized, loaded the driver and showed a list of networks to join. Fool proof.

My previous adapter that came with my PC was giving me less than 20mbps, when i plugged this in, i was easily getting over 100mbps. The only issue i have with this is, this product isnt plug and play as advertised, you have to go into your computer system and enable it yourself before it gets recognized. Still gets the job done regardless.

I just plugged it into my 5 year old laptop, turned off the built in WI-FI card (that only recognized 2.4g band), and now I pick up both my 2.4g and 5.0g bands. Well, worth the investment. My laptop streams TONS faster now.

This device was easy to use and did not stick out of my laptop much at all so it didn't get in the way. It's very small.

This little gem helped solve my frustration once my old desktop had been upgraded from 7 Home Premium to Windows 10. I had several problems getting my computer to recognize to internet options. My Geek Squad agent suggested this Linksys USB Network Adapter so I made the purchase, headed home and was able to get on the internet! It is connect to my old HP 610 All in One Computer and couldn’t be happier.

I got this when my wifi card went out. I got half the speed of that proper card when it worked(20mbs,35mbs normal) but had no drops. A plug in pcie card is better but if your options are few this will take care of you.
