Easy installation. Not quite plug and play, needed to install driver from CD. Also another reviewer recommended (and I do as well) to go into Windows device settings, find the device, and adjust power settings, so that power to USB device does not shut off when PC goes to sleep. Saves any headaches of having to reconnect to WiFi network at power cycle startup (always on).

The AC600 USB Network Network Adapter Works Great

I have VPN software on my computer, that connect ok to the internet, after I connect the Adapter to the WiFi network!

Works, very low range

With the new adapter accessing 5GHz, the difference in speed is like night and day. Being able to update or download something at the higher speed is fantastic. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to upgrade their network adapter.

Linksys is the best

I bought this to be able to connect to 5Ghz bands since my PC's network adapter is not dual band. This was exactly what I needed. Works great and my download speeds are much faster now. It's small in size, comparable to a USB flash drive. Awesome product.

Good range but didn't test how far it can get connection (kept close to source). Rarely will disconnect but just unplug and replug to reestablish connection. Huge step up with faster download speeds compared to my old single band wireless adapter. There are other faster adapters but for my needs this was a perfect fit.

Installation was simple. Disable the laptop's built in modem, plus this adapter into a high speed USB port and it installed automatically. Boosted our wireless internet speed to 100+ MBPS. Installed on 2 laptops without any problems. If you need a new modem for your computer, get this!
